Xbox 360 Dashboard Update

^ I know whatya trying to say. My connection also requires web-based authorization, but it never happens that I boot up my consoles before the PC, so that sorts out.

my isp requires reauthorization every time a new device connects. which means that even if i login with my pc, i would have to login again with the console if i try to connect to the internet with them. not a problem with the ps3 as it has a browser, but i can't go online with the 360 because of it.

You can enter those authorisation details in PPPoE settings in 360.

Oh. That sucks. I think there should be a workaround. Which ISP is this?

No dude, it doesn't work for me. I have a static IP and PPPoE isn't supported.

I had another restriction, on simultaneous usage of multiple devices, so when I used to login to Laptop my Xbox will log off and so on.

Finally, I cloned the mac address of the Laptop to the router, I have Belkin router which has this feature, I'm sure other routers should have this too. Since then the problem of multiple access is resolved, I just have to login trough PC once and then I can connect as many as devices I want.

yea i'm buying a new belkin router soon as well, just for this purpose. the login will be on the router ip, and the connection will then be shared amongst the devices in my house.

You guys are dumb. Filly still plays on a modded console and just tells you'll that he is on a Slim. He used to tell us that he has a Wii and threw it from his terrace because he didn't like it . After 1 month, he had asked my friend if he could lend him his Wii so that he could try it out . You'll still don't know him well enough :roflroll:

didn't knew that worryingfilly was so famous.Being discussed in a thread where he hasn't even posted. :P

Well WorryingFilly is definitely very famous and i'm not surprised. I mean if a guy has been gaming 4-5 hours daily for the last 4 years since he has nothing else to do ... it's pretty likely that any Indian gamer who plays online will know him well :P
