LCD TV for Gaming – Need suggestion

Samsung sets are generally more vivid in colours. Sony is more neutral. That does not mean one is good and one is bad, its just down to preferences. Besides, u can turn up/down the color in the settings anyway.

A lot of times, the lighting in showrooms can make some TVs look good and some look bad. U should see how a plasma looks in a showroom. Those showroom bastards who try to sell LEDs will put a Plasma in some dim corner of the showroom and keep showing u the LED :wallbash: They're like plasmas are bad and old technology :wallbash: :wallbash:

Do your research first on the TVs and then go check em out. And while u do, tell the showroom guys to STFU and let me be! :P

edit: Sony is cheaper than samsung when you compare the 2010 range of their TVs.

Plasmas are dead cheap nowadays as most people go for LEDs/LCDs. U can get a 46 incher Panny for 70k. I will definitely get one next year as a 2nd tv. Plasmas are quite underrated here. Only true videophiles know their worth. Again, plasmas are for people who use it to watch blu rays and DVDs. U will be disappointed with DTH or Cable TV on a plasma.

Samsung series 6 is decent. Go with Samsung, u can't go wrong. Just dont buy a TV plainly on which has a higher refresh rate. Even if u do, dont bother beyond 100 hz.

Hey guys,

I am planning to buy a TV for sure before X-Mas. Heard that Plasma TV's from Panasonic are doing pretty good, my preference would be to go for a 40'' or 46'' HD Plasma TV.

Is the 3D TV's from panasonic available in Indian market, any good models in these ?

Suggest me some good TV's guys, my budget is up to 1 Lakh. Would prefer Plasma from Panasonic or 3D TV's from Panasonic or any other company that is doing good.
