Kaio
I ve been using a BSNL broadband with wifi for quite a while now and want to change to a new and faster connection. Can someone help me with which connection i sould take, i was considering tata wired or airtel preferrably an unlimited plan with 2 mbps speed. Of course i ll buy the cheaper one . Cheers. ~Kaio
mixke
If you can live with FUP of Airtel, then go for it. Else, check how reliable is Reliance in your area. Reliance has some nice plans with no FUP but don't know how is their service.
wickedbl0ke
Reliance is anything but reliable. Why dont you just take a home based broadband connection. I use my local guy in mumbai and I pay 3.5 for 3 months 2MBPS. Pretty decent.

Assuming you're not facing any issue with BSNL
Kaio
BSNL doesnt stick to 512kbps speed. at times i receive speed which is lower than dial up hence i wanted to change my connection.

Must be something wrong with your line/connection. I am on BSNL 512 UL too & during uptimes it works great. Heck when you start a download, the speed goes all the way till 2MBPS & returns according to your plan after a minute or so

dante77
I am using 512kbps unlimited too and I never have problems with speed. Its 512kbps cont. I think its the best plan unlimited plan available currently. EDIT: I have 'black Huawei' modem too. Its awesome for wifi users. I run my PC, lappy, mobile and PS3 (used to) with it. Never had any problems.
