I think these self made tee's or freebies etc. by retailers is not a good thing unless they are offered by distributors themselves , it a bigger risk than it is a gain I think for them.

here is what really happened:

 

1. GOW pre-order: Me and jigsaw have a spat over the release of the game. Honestly, he behaved rudely and inconsiderately. From a customer service perspective, you can say the customer is always king. From a vendor perspective I have certain rights too. He definitely crossed the line.

He was not the only one being rude and misbehaving. You were too. And he (and many others) got angered because you were behaving like it was a "privilege" of the pre-ordering folks to have got a chance to get your "oh-so-awesome" t-shirt.

 

2. The free Tshirt was delayed and was not good quality. We reworked the print and fit and,

You are saying that now but you took ages to do that. You began with apple-sque "there is no problem", then conceded "yeah problem is there but was unavoidable because.....so nothing doing" and then finally agreed to accept and make returns. But anyways, just compare the original sketches and even the 2nd tshirt you gave. They are still pathetic. Why do you make up ur mock images in 16 million colors and do actual prints in 4 bits?

 

3. We promised a recall and went through with it. It costed us time and resources, which is what any start-up is constantly short of. It didn't matter though, because we wanted to redeem ourselves by giving the product we had promised. The customers were asked to send back the first T, and were sent the new one free of cost. The customers had to bear a Rs 50 cost for shipping it back to us. This was another blunder on our part because it made unhappy people unhappier. It was unavoidable at the moment and in hindsight we could have compensated for the amount in other ways. I offer a Rs 50 discount every person who paid that shipping fee(as a reimbursement).

-No point in saying this NOW.

-Also, it isn't just money. It is time as well.

-Not to mention the frustration these folks had to go through to get the recall happening.

 

4. On the whole GOW3 T was a stressful time for us more than anyone else and we have since then learned a thing or two about planning our offers better.

5. Those who haven't received their T's (just read the last few comments), they have been sitting at the store. We had communicated the availability in May i suppose, maybe you missed it. You can drop one of us a pm or call and we'll arrange it to be delivered.

We were in fact so disturbed by the whole turn of events that Arjun(He has designed this sweatshirt as well as the merchandise for Halo Reach, Uncharted 2, ODST etc and is very much a part of operations) called him personally and apologised. He was on the other hand constantly abusing and screaming, which he has admitted himself. He did change his stance about the GOW3 offer but continued to trash us. I have personally come across many posts by him where he has called us scammers etc. This one being just one of them. I would like to ask him in what way have we scammed him.

It was, in fact, very good of jigsaw to apologize for YOUR MISTAKE. How is he concerned whether Arjun or whoever messed up. That arjun guy called up jiggy and pleaded with him that his job would go or something. You call this professionalism? Instead of setting things right, you give his number to the contractor & ask to call him & get sympathy points?

Also, yes this was a scam. You promised X and gave X/100. Then after lot of pressure, gave X/50. but it is still 50 times less. On top of that, you even tried the scam of passing out milestone's FREE t-shirt as your own design and save all the money. I guess you didnt go ahead with that plan on finding out latere that milestone t-shirts were limited in number & u wont have enough for everyone,

 

6. When I received the message from him to ask about the black ops sweat, I wanted to overlook his past behaviour and told him to exercise restraint in the future. 2 days later I stumbled upon his post in the call of duty thread. and then in the vendor comparison thread. As usual he wanted to warn every one about us etc. and completely put us off because it's unfair and untrue. I wanted an explanation, which i did not get. this is the message he sent me instead ""

7. I did not reply to his message because I was feeling blackmailed.

8. Next thing I saw was this thread.

well, I have asked Anip to call Avishkar and sort it out personally. The arrangement was verbal between them and according to Anip it was unlimited rentals for 6 months. We can-not predict your usage beforehand and we offered a package which seemed fair to us. There may have been some mis-communication or mis-understanding. Hopefully they will sort it out asap.

 

 

It was never unlimited rental for 6 months. It was a package in which I could rent any games for 2 weeks for an unlimited period of time. You really think I do not understand simple english ? And yeah, I know there is nothing that can be done about this because everything was verbal. I really feel angry at myself for not getting this thing written although it did sound fishy to me even that time. Tell Anip there is no need to contact me or call me. I have no interest in talking about this issue anymore. When I had messaged him on yahoo messenger a few more times after that incident, I never got my intended reply and now after 1 year you are asking Anip to call me just because I have written everything on this forum. Why didn't he call me that day only when there was a disagreement. That day on yahoo messenger he just said something like , 'I am sure there was a misunderstanding. We will talk later.' And after that he never messaged me, pmed me or called me.

 

Why suddenly calling me now to save face and reputation? Sorry but it's too late for all this. I don't want back my money and I don't want to have anything to do with your corrupted 'ConSoul'. Seriously, if you think i'm dumb enough to get convinced by your replies after 8 months to a year of that incident then I have nothing to say. He should have called me the time this incident happened and not when I posted it on IVG.

there is no point in telling we dint scam,even though i dint buy from you.in business a mistake made by the seller should be comphensated by him so as per the above posts the first T which you send was rubbish for which they (buyer) did pay you extra money from the discounted price and you want them to pay their 50rs and send it to you to get the replacement! which you can tell 50rs is a small amount of money but that just isn't fair! just take the amount of people ordered Geow 3 with T from you,if the total is 10 that will be 50x10 = 500,which means because of your fault your customers(totally) had to bear 500rs which in anyway is a Scam.

Ever since I've joined this forum, I've known about consoul.. I've come pretty close to ordering stuff from them but ended up not ordering from them for one reason or the other.. Apart from this GOW3 T fiasco, I've never heard anything bad about them... Though, I'm really of no use in this thread, but there's one thing that struck me real hard :-

Yu pay Rs.4000 in then BAM... yu are set for yur entire gaming life.. Did yu really think that? Its like yu believed consoul was sponsoring yur video gaming and that too, for 4k...

This deal is just not possible... I mean, had I been at yur place, instead of asking psywarrior about the time limit for which I can keep the game over and over again, I would have simply asked him whats the validity of this rental subscription as simple as that... Its very logical that every such subscription has a validity.

Now, If yu asked Psy that very question and he answered that there's no time limit or expiration of this subscription, yu should quite rightly have understood the fishiness of the deal.. No one would sponsor yur gaming for 4000 bucks... One can't even buy 2 games for 4k..

I'm not questioning yu about what all hppnd btw yu and psy, but what im trying to say is that yu believed something that, obviously, was too good to be true...

you dont know how lucky you are.i ordered 2 copies of gow 3(g4u and consoul) just to get the tees but the quality of the consoul tee was so bad even my watchman refused to wear it.they did offer to replace the tees if the shipping cost was paid by the buyer but i didnt bother after their poor service.dont know whether they eventually replaced the tees for those who sent them back.

^ Kinda agree , I think another vendor here , don't remember the name started this game renting business.

 

There the clause was 12 games upto 1yr subscription validity, and subscription of 3k with 3k as security deposit total 6k, few guys even took it like Obaid bro , don't know if it still exists or how successful it was.

So after everything that happened, and everyone and their cat knows about my tryst with Con-Soul and the GOW3 tee.... I decided to take part in the pre-order for Black Ops from these guys as i really liked the sweatshirt design they are offering. Did the right thing by pming a mod first and asking them politely if i can participate in this pre-order considering the spat i had with them last time.. After initially agreeing to let me in, they take a good 3-4 days to do the witch-hunt and find all the things i've said about them on IVG and then talk back to me

 

 

Below are screenies of everything that i did *right* and the inconsiderate kids that these guys turn out to be.

 

 

 

 

The least i could expect from them after *they* screwed customers with the gow3 tee, was to redeem themselves by giving me a second chance to experience their "so-called" famed tees..... The worst they could do is show me the middle-finger. I am not expecting any favours here, i like something... am willing to pay *the* price they ask for it... Then why should you decline the customer? I clearly mentioned in the pm sent to gizmo that i "am willing to let the past be history". A seller has every right to decline a customer, but now i realise how double-sided folks these kids are. I really felt bad about all the spat that had happened when someone from TelePort Design called me up the same day i got the GOW3 tee and that guy was so apologetic but yet spoke politely although i blasted him with all sorts of abuses.... That's why i publicly took back my words that day on IVG and also erased the derogatory posts i had made because i felt bad i was pulling the so-called "Gaming Community" down by this infighting. Guess that dude is not involved in the operations anymore !

Dear Jigsaw and everybody here on the forum. This is my first post here and I am looking forward to be a regular on IVG. Of-lately a lot of things have been said for and against Consoul. I am not going to argue about the legitimacy of the claims made by us or by you or any other fellow gamer. I just wanna put forward the scenario from a neutral vantage point. I am creative head and co-founder of Teleport Design Lab. I am the same 'dude' who called you that 'fateful' night. My reason to call were your exuberant remarks on the consoul forum. Since TDL's first interaction with consoul during Halo ODST , I believe GOW 3 is your first purchase from Gizmo and Psywarrior. Your reaction on the forum for the T-shirt was extraordinarily inappropriate. You used words like A^%H#$E! and Bas#@$%s which were absolutely rubbish. People at consoul reacted and there was a mess. I couldn't and I still can't decipher the logic in passing the most judgmental remarks for someone you are dealing with for the first time. Scammers and what not. And what rubbish of a language. Respect people...Respect is the word here. Nobody said that your concern was't right. But the behaviour was just wrong.

But still it was our bad so...I called you and apologized for the Tshirts. All of us believed that the issue has been resolved and there ain't no bruised egos nomore. But Now we read your posts on IVG totally out of proportion and basically out of context. I just can't place the context here man. What is that you are fighting for??? We remade the GOW 3 Tsirts for everyone. Thats a different thing that nobody later bothered to return their 'pathetic' tshirts for the new one. I met Gizmo in the evening of the same day and we had a smile that at last we could make the most loudly critical customer of the forum to order a game again...and then we read your posts here. if you dont know jiggy,he is one fun gamer who is so into these gaming tee's because of this is the only reason he came back to consoul to preorder COD BO,and there is no point in blaming him for ranting at first because it would have been the same case with anyone who get so excited for something and when it reaches its a disaster and he did feel bad for the ranting at that time and apologised publicily.

 

in this above picture psy is asking him why he should add jiggy to the list after the all the bad things he said,but what i am saying all the bad things he said about you was not because of his fault its a fault which you guys made and after your call i remember him telling i felt bad for him and apologising.

He told me a long time back (would be 1 and a half years back now ) that they have this rental service now where you have to pay Rs. 4000 once and then you can rent games any time you want for 2 weeks. I asked if there was any time limit for the rental service like 6 months or a year but he said that there is no time limit and you can keep renting games for as long as you want by just paying Rs.4000 at once. I asked him again if there is any time limit like 6 months or a year and he denied again saying since the rental service is new and you are an old customer, there is no time limit for you.

 

Madhav, please read my post more carefully before replying. What you have typed is exactly what I had asked him. I have never accused him of stuff like he told that I can rent 1 game for 2 weeks but later told me to return it in 3-4 days. I never said anything like that. He had made it very clear that it is a 2 week rental option. I had repeatedly asked him how long can I keep renting and he said there is no limit as such since we will be officially starting the renting service later. However, you are an old customer so you just pay 4k and you can rent any game whenever you want for 2 weeks. I didn't completely believe him that time but we used to talk on yahoo messenger quite a few times before this incident and I had even done a few deals with him before the incident and they had turned out well. So I trusted him.
