My ps3 usually gets stuck. freezes. i been using this machine like a lot nowadays. ps3 media server is a neat thing to have. sometime when i power it up it stuck on the ps3 load screen. or sometime in the middle of video watching. games dunno. havent played one like in a month. :S any ideas?. does sony repair these kinda issues?.. I have a 250GB laptop drive coming in. can i use it with this?. and can i use the 80GB drive formatted to any other partition and use it in a pc?. Joy Posted October 15, 2010 Report Share Posted October 15, 2010 A freeze sometimes is a normal issue be it a PS3 or a PC, but if it happens regularly then its a certain issue , either overheating or a HDD problem. Try another HDD , make a backup first , and yes u can use the 80GB HDD on a laptop only , u can't use it on a PC as PC HDD's are 3.5", or u could buy a 2.5" HDD USB external casing and use it as a External HDD for later use.
