Karooo Posted October 15, 2010 Report Share Posted October 15, 2010 According to SCEE demand has been high enough to increase production levels Sony's latest PS3 accessory, PlayStation Move, is moving units around very well. Though no figures have been revealed for North America, Sony of Europe is sharing sales information on the product and initial sales have been strong for the new motion controller. During a video interview with Bloomberg, Andrew House of Sony shared some sales data and stated that the motion controller has sold in the area of 1.5 million units across Europe and that sales have exceeded their expectations, so they may need to accelerate their production plans. Though software still isn't amazing for the motion controller, it's slowly building up as more developers and publishers throw support behind it.
