ColorCodePurple Posted October 19, 2010 Report Share Posted October 19, 2010 Hey guys,I connected my laptop to my TV via HDMI (for movies,and *cough* *cough*vids*cough* ) I am getting the display all right eventhough sometimes my TV says unsuported output (why? ) and today I also got the sound working (although sometimes the screen sort of flickers).But I wanted to know how can I shut of my laptops lid,whenever I try it the stupid thing shuts off,I tried changing the settings in control panel but it still shuts off I had no problems with this when I was using windows vista on factory settings (I have a hp dv4,which came with vista but I switched to 7) oh and my TV is Sony bravia Help will be appreciated guys Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
