I can shell 25k if its of sony And wats the price of z5500? trust me you wouldn't wanna go to sony for a sound rig get a Z-5500 if you are looking for a decent entry level sound rig . although the risk factor is if the control pod of Z5500 dies after the warranty period you are pretty much screwed coz Logitech doesn't have any AMC / Repair / Warranty extension for their products. edit: which is why component based systems always rule , no matter what blows up you always know you wouldn't have to dump the entire rig Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I can shell 25k if its of sony And wats the price of z5500? trust me you wouldn't wanna go to sony for a sound rig get a Z-5500 if you are looking for a decent entry level sound rig . although the risk factor is if the control pod of Z5500 dies after the warranty period you are pretty much screwed coz Logitech doesn't have any AMC / Repair / Warranty extension for their products. @shut up...kunni bhai is HundredPercentSahi....you dont wanna go for sony sound system...they are very mediocre in performance...you have much better choice...like he said go for z-5500 but i too have heard the control pod design is kinda faulty..it dies quite a lot ...within warranty logitech will change it but after that i dont think so ..but perfomance of z-5500 is absolutely paisa vasool....no doubt...plus its gone cheap also now i think by few thousand bucks...anyways I have listened to Sonodyne 5.1 surround sound system and that was absolutely awesome too...and they price it well too...i dont remember the model...it was just that i was in a mall and checked it out while i was there ....I think if i ever go for 5.1ch or 7.1 ch..i would go for sonodyne.
