But the H or 3G icon next to my network bars disappears ... and that means that 3G signal is not working. But then I change APN settings ..viz i delete bsnlnet APN and then again create it then only it works. I wanted to know, does this happen with anyone else? 3G works fine when i get the signal but it dis sappers. NEED HELP . PS:MODS I created a thread because i wanted urgent help. Shantz
It could be switching between 3G/2G intermittently because of signal issues.. BTW, you can try setting it to 3g only..I dont remember where the setting is though.. I think u can get to it by entering one of those esoteric USSD codes through the phone app.

Shantz
^^ wrt USSD-> http://www.androidcentral.com/how-force-nexus-one-3g-mode Try this.. and yeah instead of WCDMA only, try setting to WCDMA preferred otherwise you will lose connectivity in areas without 3G but just for testing you can try with WCDMA only as well..
