cinecon
hey guys, help me out will ya. Im buyin an lcd for my 360 n hd media player. I've locked in on these 2 n im confused so I need ur suggestions. These are the two options: Benq M2700HD (27" Full HD, speakers, remote) - Rs. 24,000 Nehru Place http://cgi.ebay.in/Benq-M2700HD-BenQ-27-M2700HD-Slim-LED-Monitor-Bill-War-/250717726806?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_203&hash=item3a5ff0e856 or VU LC-32V88P (32" Full HD TV) - Rs. 24000 showroom http://www.technologies.vu/lcd32.asp I am confused cuz I know about Benq but i have no idea about VU, also i can't seem to find any reviews on this particular model. Other reason for confusion is the obvious bigger screen for same price Speakers and remote don't matter, all i want is a brilliant display. So, help me out guys! which one should i go for? Both have warranty.
Man In The Box
For me it's always bigger the better when it comes to TVs. So I would suggest the 32" model, specially since both are of the same price.
aki_jazz
Yes go for the 32* LCD.... I recently brought 32inch LCD of LG.... it has 2 HDMI 1 USB, Full HD and lots more... cost me around 35K with diwali offer discounts. for my PS3..... Playing on 32 gives you a feel of being into the game... If you can increase yr budget a bit, i will suggest you to go for a good brand cause if you need good services.... all the best with yr buy mate
Mel81x
The VU isn't a bad choice but I'd check the aspect ratios closer to see if thats really what your getting for your price. Ditching the BenQ and getting a TV might not always be a smarter option. I have BenQ monitor and it outshone my Bravia [27] but thats because the density of pixels was more so when I hooked up my PS3 to the BenQ it actually looked a lot better. Size can be a consideration but if your getting multi-purpose i'd say go with the BenQ. Where are you planning to set this up at? In a living room or with your PC? What u said about the aspect ratio, well it is 16.9, and der r lots of inputs too. the ONLY thing i don't know about it is the refresh rate i guess, whether it is 50Hz or 100Hz and also any1s experience with Vu tvs... bigger is better ofcourse but the quality matters too. hoping the vu gives, if not better, atleast the same performance as the benq 2700hd. Thats all i wanna know to lock me on the deal. Strictly for console gaming and hd media player. Nothing else, speakers, remote are of no consideration at all. Thanks 4 ur suggestions though
