Guys. Can anyone suggest good HDMI 2.0 cables for 4k? My TV installation Engineer showed few cables but were 1500 plus. On Amazon their own basic costs 350. And claims 4k@60p. There's also Mivi 4k HDMI v2.0 cable for similar price. But I don't have trust in their writing....can anyone suggest good cable for 4k? Need 5-6 Total Cables.

Amazon basics cables are good enough, been using them for months now, no problem whatsoever. Ps4 Pro, 4k bluray all run fine.

Plus they are the only ones which mention 18gbps transfer rate, which is the spec of HDMI 2.0 while all other including MIVI titles it as V2 but has mentioned 10.2gbps transfer which is HDMI 1.4 spec.

My advice is to stay with amazon.

Ps4 pro, Xbox X, Pc all this will work on a normal HDMI cable. However, If you are using any UHD player then you will need a certified 18gbps cable. I suggest Monoprice cable from Amazon 1000-1500rs.

Will work but you might face problems like handshake issue, blackscreen, HDR color appearing overly saturated or picture appearing washed out. So if you using a dedicated UHD player then get a certified 18gbps cable.

Amazon Basic Claims to be working with 4k. So does a brand called MiVi HDMI 2.0. which is around 500. I don't want to spend 6k just on HDMI because I will be buying 6 pcs.

Do you require 6 HDMI cables for 6 UHD players. Then I would suggest get 6 18gbps certified cables. If you are going to use it for anything else other than a dedicated UHD. Amazon basic cable will suffice.

Amazon basic is certified 18gbps, I have been using it for months with my UHD player, no blackscreen, handshake or HDR issues.

Internet is full of articles which state how superfluous the claims of various hdmi manufacturers are which drive up the price while the spec remains the same.

Buying a hdmi cable for over 1k in this day and age, is stupidity.

Buy only if you think having a reflecting sticker on the box stating "Certified 18gbps" will make it perform better.

Thank you for this. Are these good enough for multiplayer gaming considering input lag?

Food for thought - When Sony or samsung show TVC for their latest and greatest hdr enabled super deep colors, and I watch them on my old TV, how am I able to make out that color depth on my old TV. For a minute even if I can, then why do I need a new TV

I checked some of them but there is no clear information on that. Most of the modern TVs has a game move which minimize some of the processing and improves input lags. You have to spend some time of on each TV to know more about panel, modes, Nits, warranty to make a clear decision. There are some good options within 50k from budget point of view(I checked in Flipkart).

Mitashi 107.95cm (42.5 inch) Ultra HD (4K) LED Smart TV

CloudWalker 109cm (43 inch) Ultra HD (4K) LED Smart TV

TCL P6 107.9cm (43 inch) Ultra HD (4K) LED Smart TV

Vu Pixelight 108cm (43 inch) Ultra HD (4K) LED Smart TV

Kodak 124cm (50 inch) Ultra HD (4K) LED Smart TV

Vu Official Android 109cm (43 inch) Ultra HD (4K) LED Smart TV

Panasonic 109cm (43 inch) Ultra HD (4K) LED Smart TV

CloudWalker CloudTV 139cm (55 inch) Ultra HD (4K) LED Smart TV

Mi LED Smart TV 4 138.8 cm (55)

Vu 127cm (50 inch) Ultra HD (4K) LED Smart TV

Vu Pixelight 140cm (55 inch) Ultra HD (4K) LED Smart TV

4.4 ★ (3,696) ₹49,999

LG 108cm (43 inch) Ultra HD (4K) LED Smart TV

4.6 ★(152) ₹52,999

If you are serious of competitive multiplayer, TV might not be the best way to go
