If you keep buying shite TVs then you'll keep getting tired of them. Nanocell TVs are trash.

It's like getting redmi phones every six months. Paying less frequently for a sub standard experience vs paying good money for a solid product which will keep you happy for half a decade.

OLED is a dream. Lets see when it is feasible

Dunno if x900h is same as sony X90H, I bought X90H 65inch for 1.56 today and additional 14300 for extended warranty for 2years in Croma. Hope it helps if you're looking to negotiate.
Yeah it's same will really appriciate the feedback after some good amount of usage

Get the Toshiba TV. Its pretty good and you should be set for 4-5 years unless it fails. It shits on any TV in the market.

Toshiba stopped being good back in 2016, it's no longer Japan made.

U7980 is a Hisense H8F rebrand which is a great TV for the price. Check its review on rtings to get an idea of its quality. Samsung, LG, Sony can't even come close to it at that price.

Wow. Full array backlighting at this price point!!!

I bought iffalcon k2a tv 2years back. It died 1 week back. Its still under extended warranty Jeeves. They are saying they would give 70% refund of tv cost.

But jeeves reviews are very bad online. Did anyone here faced similar issue and got refund from Jeeves?

Yeah as per the reviews it seems to be. Not sure how that is Dolby vision then, afaik DV is a 10 bit standard.

Exactly. None of the reviews talk about it in detail.

Will be awesome if Hisense launches its H9G here.

Toshiba Official site says 'Yes' to HDR 10 and they've got Dolby Vision smeared left right and center in all their ads, banners and the brochure.

I don't think this model is an Hisense H8F rebrand, though it does look like one.

I Want a 50-55 inch 4k tv from the sales. Im picking a priority list

Are either of these TVs good?

Sony - https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B086RB5VSJ/ref=s9_acss_bw_cg_LATV_5a1_w?pf_rd_m=A1K21FY43GMZF8&pf_rd_s=merchandised-search-8&pf_rd_r=RHGZYNF4D3ZVAAHM7SWJ&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=7158c140-d06b-43db-a827-bef84d89f036&pf_rd_i=15430068031

Samsung - https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B07STKNJ9R/ref=s9_acss_bw_cg_LATV_5c1_w?pf_rd_m=A1K21FY43GMZF8&pf_rd_s=merchandised-search-8&pf_rd_r=RHGZYNF4D3ZVAAHM7SWJ&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=7158c140-d06b-43db-a827-bef84d89f036&pf_rd_i=15430068031

Also, any one here has any experience with the QLED One Plus TV? how is that compared to these?

I want to ideally go with sony or samsung, I dont mind if its not an android tv (I dont see the additional value tbh I have a firestick anyway)

and my budget is around 50k

I was also considering the 50 inch Mi TV which is 30 and thats a great savings. Or even the TCL varients in that price range. Should I stick to these brands? Is adding that extra 20k for Sony/Samsung worth it?

Go with Samsung if you watch/play games on your TV in a dark room and sit a bit closer to TV. Being a VA panel it's always good with black levels and contrast.

Sony has IPS panel, which has good viewing angles and colour reproduction but really sucks in dark rooms. It requires biased lighting of some kind to compensate for the poor black levels and the dreaded IPS glow in dark scenes in movies/games.

My list is finally down to two TVs -

Samsung Frame 2020 (55 inch) - http://dl.flipkart.com/dl/samsung-frame-138cm-55-inch-ultra-hd-4k-qled-smart-tv/p/itm699b9564b5ef6?pid=TVSFQQJ8GMWBTAFK&cmpid=product.share.pp

Toshiba 55U7980 - https://www.amazon.in/dp/B08BXYTZCH/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_dp_x_1zSHFbH7Y00JS

The Samsung Frame has 120 Hz panel, but around 30k more than Toshiba.

Toshiba only has 60 hz panel, but has full array LED with local dimming, peak brightness 700 nits (compared to 590 nits on Frame).

Any suggestions/advice would be welcome.
