Anyone using The Frame or seen one IRL with "art mode"? How does it look like a canvas with a glass-like panel? Very interested in one if it manages to look like a real canvas in daylight.

The Frame mode is available on the LG CX Model also.  Visually it looks great,

That 12.5% cashback offer is gone :( and it seems The Frame is now available. I see what is happening, *beep* you SAMSUNG :furious:

Guys, what do you suggest, wait for FK BBD sale (can't wait longer than 8-10 oct) or get it now . Do you think BBD will start before 10?

BBD will start before 10th Oct but you might not get delivery by then. It is definitely a better idea to wait for BBD/GIF and Diwali sale. Grab stuff when you feel the best price is being offered.

What's the hurry ? Just wait for the sale. They have announced it already, so that dates cant be far.

Ok since you guys are saying.

The reason is. Marriage is in November, and I want to game the heck out of October while I can :fear: I deferred playing any good looking PS4 games because I did not have a proper big 4K TV.

I can get behind that. Reason i want to get a PS5 as soon as possible is because i am also marrying in March. Plans were there for November but those got postponed due to Covid :P

Yeah but I'd rather the set itself look like The Frame, not just display art.

What is cost of TV installation if bought from Samsung corporate website? FK is giving it free, they are not. I know some people here already bought it. So, how much did samsung guys charge?

sh*t, The Frame 2020 is now out of stock again. I think I will just order it from FK without any offer :fear:

Sony are not advertising their features properly for X900H, it is not specifically written if it has a 120Hz panel, on sony site it shows it has 50/60Hz refresh rate, on amazon india it states 100 Hz, secondly nowhere exceot in features, only a review they are promoting says it has hdmi 2.1 but not sony officially ? Does that mean sony doesn't plan on giving india the hdmi 2.1android 11 firmware update it says which enables hdmi 2.1 ? I have got no info on LG CX 48 inch and if the 55 inch CX costs a fortune I'm thinking about going with sony.

Calm down. Real world price of LG CX is 1.25L ish for 55 inch. Just wait for a month for the festive offers.

Sony X900H is not a great TV with its middling peak brightness, low number of local dimming zones and bad viewing angles.

LG Cx has 4 HDMI 2.1 ports, infinite contrast ratio, great viewing angles and works on the best tech in consumer televisions.

Pray for us we get the 48 inch model, for my small-medium room viewing area, i guess 55 inch seems a bit problematic to fit.

I wouldn't count on it. If it was coming, it would have come by now.

Damn if not that then I'll have to check if i can fit a 49 incher q80t or go for a 43 incher and just settle at 4k 60Hz without VRR

Btw I'm visually impaired poor vision so i need to sit as close to the TV as possible 2 feet max or maybe 3 i guess for that is 55 too much ? is 49 inch too much as well?

Ok i calculated the distance i sit from my 32 inch TV and it's 3 and 1/2 feet.

To get the same smooth experience from a larger size considering I'm visually impaired can i read text properly at 5 feet distance if i wall mount a bigger TV ? Are text larger on a bigger TV ?
