Qled is just LCD with a fancy name. Doesnt mean sh*t.

Check rtings comparison.

Also Samsung so no DV. If that’s something one needs. Once you have experienced DV, it’s a different ball game altogether.

Tbh, unless you see DV and HDR10 side by side, it'll hardly make a difference.

Thanks for the confusion guys :P I heard good things about CX here but I have seen atleast two of them go bad in my network. One due to burn in and one panel had vertical lines. So LG is a big no no for me. I looked up and Q95 is around 1.26L for 55 inches. I can stretch the budget little bit to that if it is worth it. Thoughts? I was almost confirmed to get x9000h till yesterday but the good prices i got on these two Sammy TVs made me reconsider and also some people here didnt like the picture quality of X9000h.

Once you go black deep-black, you can never go back.
LED is the past, OLED is inevitable.

You sure ? you need 12-bit colors for that, HDMI 2.1. The BT2020 currently only shows 87% of it's full potential on the TVs that fully support it like this years A8H

Samsung frame ?

and save more than 20k

Second this, most people here seem to have a great uniform panel, though i'd love to hear how you keep the one connect cable safe

You are most likely experiencing issue due to poor PWM implementation. Layman-ish explanation here: https://www.oled-info.com/pulse-width-modulation-pwm-oled-displays#:~:text=Pulse-Width Modulation%2C or PWM,cause eye strain and headaches.

You can Google for more info, but the bottom line is if you are developing sensitivity to PWM, you will have to use high brightness.

Thanks got through it, some things i did not get, at the end they tell you to get LCD for 24-bit color but aren't our TVs limited to 10-bit or max 12-bit color ? Also at first they say both LCD and OLED use PWM so what to get then ?

I won't be using a TV in a pure dark room anyway, I'll have some lights on.

How is your experience so far with x900H. Would you recommend it or not?

He returned his. Had problems.

Mine on the other hand plus my brother's are working like a charm. No complaints.

I will recommend to go for it over Samsung. Just make sure you check the TV on arrival, by playing different content so you don't have any problems later on.

Ah i got a bad replacement for the 1st bad one i got, both had dealbreaking vertical bars while gaming, and some amount of bars on normal content, i am in refund process now, which is taking it's time.

This TV is a hit or miss, same goes for Q80t you are looking into, Q95T is not worth it, might as well get a LG CX or wait for CES 2021 models. I know people here don't like quantum TV but he has some pretty convincing stuff on why to avoid the Q90T/Q95T, he is really into his Q8FN so his comparisons as a previous samsung customer are well done. Main point samsung screwed the Q90T local dimming with recent software update, he shows it in one comparison video.

Q80t has DSE as well & the flicker vrr issues at 120hz are more than LG CX.

Only TV with no DSE i see online is the frame, i imagine since it's a lifestyle TV very high QC has been done.

I paid 82k post cashback for 55". Without cashback, 1L will be the best price I think.

Lol, no. Don't expect QC just because it's a lifestyle TV. And for sure there will be some DSE, it's how the technology works.

Don't touch it? Why would anyone need to fiddle with it once it's set up.

They have particular rules of keeping it in a 4 inch loop. I wonder if one can find a ziplock bag or sone fancy case like that airpod max case.

If you even twist it samsung care video says you might break it. It's too delicate imo
