I am having an issue with my x900H.

Whenever I turn Ps5 or XSX on, the audio is not being routed to TV. It works when I plug in headphones to the controller but the only way to get audio back is to hard restart the TV i.e. either press and hold the power button to restart (not the normal on and off) or turn the power off via outlet.

This wasn't an issue when I used JBL quantums on Ps5 and has only started ever since I used 3.5mm.

No other source is facing this problem.

Edit: It's a bug with the TV. Only way to fix it right now is to either hard restart or change HDMI format to Standard or Enhanced (Dolby) which basically means no 4k 120.

Work is apparently in the fix by Sony.

Doesn't affect much since hardly any 120fps games right now but hopefully this is fixed soon.

Is the VRR update out yet? And any idea what's the current street price?

VRR update isn't out. Not sure when it will even come, even 2021 sets don't have it.

Price is around 92k right now. I personally got it for 82k back in Oct but right now not too many discounts. I won't suggest it for more than 90k.

"The Mi QLED TV 75 does not support 4K video streaming at 120fps decoding (input) due to
hardware limitations. The TV can decode upto 1080p at 120fps and 4K at 60fps natively. The TV
will upscale the input source to output 120fps using Reality Flow 120(MEMC) to match native
refresh rate of the panel."

Considering there are hardly any 120hz sources and that majority of the current TVs are upscaling the content to match native refresh rate, this should not be a concern.

VRR is not available as well, again should not matter much.

If brightness is any good then this can come out to be a decent all rounder with a kick-a*s price.

Wouldn't really spend >1 lac on a Mi product, however good it looks on paper. This is (AFAIK) their first foray into FALD sets, and the experience is limited.

Plus the abysmal service in general.

I was also thinking of buying one, but nah. If it breaks, it's too much headache.

The service isn't bad. May uncle's set went bad and it was fixed promptly.

Good to hear.

Will wait for some reviews before jumping in.

None of my sets at home have VRR, so kinda looking for something which can do VRR with PS5/XBX, but that size is super tempting.

If it works well, it's a perfect drawing room tv.

Value triumphs all especially when you look at the size. My friends have Mi TV and support has been good for them, their set was fixed promptly but that will vary.

If this set is anything decent then it will sell a lot.

For gaming, your OLED will still perform better even if it doesn't have VRR.

Also, they specifically mentioned "Made in India" on product page, lol. That will win some customers over.

Suggestions for a good 4K TV for the living room within 60k? Planning to move the C9 to my work room along with consoles. The living room space will mostly be used to watch movies with family and stream dish content

The Sony LIV app on every platform is a joke.

On Android TV OS it's pretty decent. At the very least, it gives me the option to choose the quality and select 'High', and there is a visible difference.

Case in point: I was watching the Europa League live stream last night and the stream quality was far better on the sh*tty iFFalcon TV (which I've moved to my bedroom) than on the new CX. Not sure if it's the bit-rate or what, but it's just not optimised well enough for WebOS.

SonyLIV and Voot, both.

Other apps (Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ Hotstar, Apple TV) are miles better on WebOS than on Android TV OS.

I use it on Sony TV, and it's pretty bad. High is as good as 480p IMO.

It's just a bad app in front of Prime/Hotstar/Netflix etc.

Netflix still has the best UI unless one is using Fire Stick.
