Can someone recommend the best TV under 30k? Will be running Fire stick on this, so don't care about UI etc.

Not looking for a big one either, 43" works well. Just need something to get the job done.

Toshiba had the best Budget Picture quality for ppl not looking for UI & Latest Apps.

Perfect for Gaming & FireStick requirements.

I bought one 4 years ago….& was best for Gaming & FireStick.

Best Budget picture quality.

I know it's a TV thread, but I'm blown away by the HDR technology on my monitor. :wOOtjumpy: Even if it's only DisplayHDR 400 certified, the difference is clearly noticeable, especially in gaming. It also easily adds extra life to the titles released during the PS360 generation. Coming to live-action, while some movies are subtle, some like John Wick Chapter 4 (where there's so much pop in every freaking frame :panic:) look absolutely stunning from start to finish. Nvidia's RTX HDR feature also helps with YouTube and locally stored videos (thanks to modders). Hope some affordable mini-led HDR monitors with peak brightness of 1000 nits are released here soon.

Not a gaming monitor mind you.

Thats confusing :) I am planning to have a small and cosy gaming setup in a separate room without TV wall mounting and all. So for this purpose, will this be a good choice to hook the console to?

I was talking in terms of features like high refresh rate, G-Sync/Freesync etc. Otherwise, yes, this would be good.

Any chance you enquired the price for 65 inch too?

No I was looking for 55 inch OLED only. As I had to purchase most of the appliances for my flat I asked them to give me bulk discount on total bill amount.

Bought Sony Bravia 3 75" for 1.25 lacs last month from Reliance Digital. Since this TV is for Living room, preference was a big screen size and not that much on PQ.

Do you use an OLED too? How is the PQ compared to oled if you use one? 1.25L seems like a great price for a 75 inch tv

OLED is definitely much better, but my OLED is 65 inch. The size difference that 75 brings is humongous, plus with android TV the OS is very fast. But you need 4K content, or need a decent viewing distance, 1080P from close (4 to 5 feet) does not feel that great.

I was thinking mainly from gaming and netflix pov, so content will be 4k mostly.  Will need to take a demo at croma:bigyellowgrin:
