Bruh what ? Who are these rich people?

My LG Gram - going strong since 4 years

iPad - 8 years with a battery change (cheap repair)

C8 - 7 years (with a mobo change at 6 years, which was cheap repair)

Nothing has failed in a way which was expensive. And I live in an area prone to electronic malfunction due to drain gases.

My horizon for any gadget is 10 years minimum (with cheap QoL repairs built in).

Sharam kro.

Mine is from 2018. Running pretty great.

If newer OLEDs cant even do 5 years, it is really a WTF moment.

mera wala bhi 8 saal ho gaye. Still running same as new. Not even a single issue and I dont even take care of it, leave it on pause screens for games/series whatever for hours every day

Pichhla laptop (dell precision) also worked well for 7-8 years and the next one (lenovo legion) has been working for 4 for now without any issues

My LG c1 is almost 3 years now and I hadn't opted for extended warranty at the time of purchase. LG has now sent me a message for opting for extending the warranty period. Is it worth getting the same?

My sis got LG C4. Extended warranty needed?

I think people should get it, I remember that it used to be 20k for 3-4 years. Anything more then maybe not. It is an entirely personal decision.

I remember when i bought my b9 in 2019. Mofo lg executive was asking 80k as extended warranty amount (3years) on a TV that cost me 1.15L. I was literally looking at him like "Yaar tu thoda sa BKL hai kya?"

I haven’t contacted them yet. What would be the ideal cost for warranty extension?

edit: read the comments on top. 20k is ideal . Gotcha

I have a 48 inch c1

They have offered panel coverage in the platinum plan but unsure if it covers burn in. The cc rep said she will call in the evening. Is the platinum cover worth it?

I don't think so because you can anyway buy a new 48incher for under a Lakh.

It's entirely your call.

They are not committing that burn in will be covered in this but panel damage will be covered.

So screw this. Not worth it i think.
