Finalized C4 65" at 1.64L. Tried to haggle hard to get to Diwali prices but it was impossible.

14k more than the lowest price, that's a good deal given it's not even close to Diwali.

I mailed them if burn in and image retention is covered under AMC. Their reply is so vague. Anyways ,Burn in is not covered and unsure if they can do anything regarding image retention but physical damage is covered under AMC

It’s best you could have done…don’t think too much.

 

6 months ago getting a C4 for even lesser was a pipe dream….no matter how much someone tries to make you feel otherwise.

Guys, looking for at purchasing g4/c4, probably 55". Is g4 worth the extra premium over c4? And should I wait till Diwali. Any suggestions? I have a g1 at home, how is g4/c4 compared to the older series? And any shops I should lookout for deals in Mumbai?

If you wait till Diwali then it will be G5 and not G4. 

G4/C4 are already much brighter that the previous models, 5 series is a step above.

You will notice the difference.

 

Someone on Hifivision just bought 55G4 for 1.27L post card discount and 55C4 for 1.02L

But old sets are generally hard to come by now, better wait till Diwali for the same offers on the 5 series.
