Looking for a LED TV (42-46), preferably Sony. (passive 3d if the budget allows)
Max budget : 55-60K

And is going for grey market recommended(Burma bazaar in chennai). Asking because, the TVs are at least 8-10K cheaper than online prices.
Only thing that worries me is the warranty :/

Can anyone please recommend a Samsung alternative for Sony's KDL-55W950B in the 40"-46" range? I.e, if there really exists one? I'm in the market for an active 3D tv with good color reproduction and color range. 4K support isn't a deciding factor. Thanks .

No really... But still you can check Samsung's Offerings in 6 Series, EH6200 48" priced around 90-95. But nothing beats W950B, Bcoz it scores in Triluminos Display which they all claim it to be the Game Changer however Personally I don't feel so, Still the TV is damn Good.

@ProblemSmoker :- As of now Seiki is not available, And I don't think any retailer also imports it in India.... Where have u seen the reviews, CNET ?

No.. Plz donttt.. I tried buying a note 3 there and they showed a 100% clone model which even a techie would find it difficult to differentiate.

Also a tv worth 50k without a warrenty is definitely a no no.

Buy from a reputed dealer and go for additional warrenty is req coz even these tvs cost a hole in the pocket even to repair small stuff inside

Was quite impressed by it when i saw it on display for the 1 st time.. But heard it develops a line in the display after exactly one year (end of warrenty) Thats y scared 😲

Just got it today. Downloaded a few 1080p Samsung and Sony demo videos and the picture quality is fantastic. Really good colours and contrast. Also plugged in a USB drive and it played pretty much every video format I threw at it.

The downside - the UI isn't the best, and the menu does lag a bit when browsing through the USB drive. Remote is also a bit tacky. But none of that really matters, because the picture is great. Better than I expected. Especially for 28k.

bought the same tv from reliance digital (model no LE40A6340/61). Everythng is just so good at the price of 25k(store discount + sbi cash back) :clap3: :clap3: :clap3:
