Yes Very much satisfied..

I used it to watch movies, play games on PS3 n PS4..

The display is solid..Really great.Watched few movies on blu ray disc..It was amazing.

The inbuilt player in the tv however is not so good..I played few movies using usb stick, the quality was pretty average.

Up scaling was also pretty bad in when played using an usb stick..720 p videos dint look good at all..

Same videos i played using PS4 media player looked really great.

The ports are placed foolishly, if you wall mount its a huge pita to connect anything to the tv, you have to literally remove the tv from the wall and connect the wires..

Its not as good as LG or samsung tvs but its totally worth the money you pay..

he is under no obligation and generally dealer warranty is next to nothing. What if he stops his business in Ebay after few days. Price is great if you are ready to oversee the risk, i personally don't recommend Samsung cos i have had a total of 7 of them fail in my family and friends. We have stopped buying them from few years.

VU TV would be the safest option for now.. I can say so because I have experience in both categories.. Got myself a VU one this big billion sale for 18.2k (+2.5k warranty extension) and also had purchased a seller warranty samsung 40 inch TV last year for my parents for 27k.. Samsung one is still working without any issues till now.. touch wood.. :P

VU one almost matches the Samsung quality sometimes.. Though like silentassasin mentioned, the USB playback sucks and you need really good quality rips if you want a good movie experience from the TV..

Also while playing FIFA 15 via VGA, I find that sometimes there is a yellow shadow every time I switch player, not sure what the problem is.. But no issues while playing other games like GTA Battlefield etc..

Another thing I noticed was that HDMI output is somewhat brighter than VGA output..

Power consumption wise also VU is great, I was able to watch about 1hr of movie with TV sound during power cuts using an APC 1100 UPS...

  • 4 weeks later...

looking to buy a TV - size between 42 inch and 48 inch, most users swear by LG and Sony! Sony very expensive compared to LG.

Max viewing Distance is 8 Feet - will mostly be seated nearer.

Will use for Blueray, 1080p PC gaming, PS4 (which i plan to buy along with this).

so i want to know a price vs performance which brand would be better ? need HDMI, USB, Wifi so i can watch Youtube.

Also i plan to mirror my PC while gaming with TV - PC located on first floor, while TV located exactly below on Ground Floor - which model would support this option else what third party tool do i have to use ?

Steam Link has this option but not available for sale!

It's a decent entry level 4K tv, as for buying online i don't see a problem. Personally i avoid buying TV online though FK and amazon have really good policies backed by a very good customer care. A good idea can be to call up LG customer service and talk to them that you are about to buy a TV online from Amazon/FK and their stance around it.
