I received following inputs from various sources

1. plasma is old technology

2. lcd is good

3. led is better

led life is longer than lcd.

got a suggestion from a friend from ivg lg 32 lcd 32lg80fr

Guys can you please recommend a decent HDTV monitor? Basically one with and HDMI/DVI-D port for me to have lag free high def PS3 gaming on? I'm currently on a CRT TV and it's f**king bullshit.

Honestly speaking the size of the screen doesn't really matter to me as long as it has the HDMI/DVI-D. Price should be as cheap as possible->3-8k for normal tvs/screens/monitors.

If you know of any great deal on 3DTV's that are coming withing 15-16 please let me know, my budget can extend upto this much for good deals on 3DTV's.

Here is requirement

1) >=32" and <40"

2) Full HD

3) Multiple HDMI

3) Tru Motion (preferred)

4) Good Sound

5) No LG :ack:

6) Budget not too high, not too low..

I already have a 42" LG LCD TV.. and within a year got problems and TV was down for a month :ack: so I am done with LG. and thanks to wonderful customer care of LG tv was back in only one month (sarcastic)

Also can go for Plasma greater than 40" if the price is right  was thinking if I should wait till Diwali :scratchchin:

Thanks guys :good:

How are Toshiba LED TVs? They are very cheap. Are they really bad that their price for 40 " LEDs are about 40 & 45k. how about this & this

the thing is otherwise I will buy samsung 40D5000 for 43.5k off ebay that comes with dealer warranty. toshiba TVs will come with warranty..

u can get it for little cheaper too

what is dealers warranty anyway?

Been thinking of replacing my 5 yr old Sony Bravia 32" LCD TV with a Plasma.. but them one of my friends suggested i try out projectors.. did sum research on it and found out the current generation projectors are the best thing to have for gaming/movies etc.. not so much suitable for TV viewing tho.. jus wanted an opinion on the following two models.. i have a friend who is in thailand and will get it foe me frm there.. i can save a decent amount of money by getting it from there..

1) ViewSonic Pro8200 Home Theater Projector

2) Epson PowerLite Cinema 8350 Projector..

well i have managed to get a significantly lower price on samsung 40D5000 now  so no toshiba sh*t for me any more :P

well good dealers usually just replace the unit otherwise they foot your repair bill in your city in case they have a tie up or something.

If you want free service, you have to send it only to the seller.

You have to probably pay for the service anywhere else.

both models are good. but where ever i have checked, pro8200 was significantly cheaper than all other full HD projector..

in case your friend is getting it for you why dont you ask him to get one for me as well :naughty: ill of course pay for it :P though how much is it costing in thailand?
