I am not looking to spend that much since this one is not going to be used for movie watching a lot, like general tv use.

I already have a 55X900e for that, will wait for HDMI 2.1 till I spend the big bucks.

So any suggestion?

The C8 Can be had for around 110k after discounts offered through shops. I believe that's the best.

Trust me, you won't even remember 10-15k down the line and you'll think you would have rather spent it while you were spending close to 90k

I was thinking to go for a set which can attain more brightness.

But I will check C8 out now.

I'll look for other options, if needed I can ask friends which bought the TV here in NCR for maximum discount.

Up scaling current resolution content is very crucial when buying a 4K TV i agree. 4K content is very limited still.

Mother in law was watching Heena few days back which released in 1991 and it looked like it was shot in 2019. Amazing picture quality.

From Reliance Digital, after haggling with LG Shoppe and Croma.

They billed for 1.3lacs, with CB in account (not wallet) for 27k. 2k or some CB by paying down payment via Citi (or was it HDFC - dont remember), and rest via Bajaj Finserv (NC-EMI).

Anyone?

I would recommend to just go for the 55 inch version. I have 55x900e and I am so glad that I didn't take the 49 inch, you really need more screen space to fully appreciate the brightness it can achieve.

Money is not the issue, space is. I need it for a room where there is not enough space between the seating area and the wall.

Just checked, for a viewing distance of about 7.5-8 ft, 55 inch tv should be fine.
