Big Boss
Werner and Havertz are absolute flops. Send them back to Bundesliga.
Guest
Timo and Kai didn't even start lol. Timo is your highest goal involvement... 4G4A. Plus, not their fault if Lamps strategy is to cross non-stop to players who don't head. Giroud can head so it works. No plan B. He actually did a goal line clearance for the opposition instead of scoring. He is just a shorter Morata who can't head. Havertz is just sideways passing merchant who gives the ball away more than Jorginho. By the time he thinks about where to pass, he is closed down by opposition player and he has to pass sideways or at the back, or just give up the possession. Its baffling. Maybe its covid affecting his game, but for Timo, there is no excuse. Lampard definitely has no Plan B. He hasn't come up with clear formation too. He might be gone by January. Guest
Quote He is just a shorter Morata who can't head. Timo is 5"11. Morata is 6"3.. Plus, Timo relies more on pace, slim and not built like Morata who can head. Different players. He kept making the runs but nobody tried the pass but instead cross. He even tried to head but was ruled offside. Quote Havertz is just sideways passing merchant who gives the ball away more than Jorginho. Maybe its covid affecting his game, but for Timo, there is no excuse. Because that's Lamps strategy. Kai got 20 minutes and he did what he could. Of course long way to go and develop but I wouldn't write him off yet. The team definitely needs plan B and start playing more centrally where both players shine. Big Boss
Maybe a new coach can fix the issues. Lampard is out of his depth.
silv3rgunn3r
Werner and havertz are not being played in their natural positions and playing them out of position in an new/unfamiliar league is hampering their form and confidence....When Werner played in his natural position in the 3-3 draw against Southampton he scored 2 awesome goals ......not sure why lampard isn’t understanding this fact..... Because lamps values a play style of crossing over using the individual talents of his players, target man ST is a must in his style and Werner is far from that. Werner was used in a 2 man ST setup mainly at RB Leipzig...

Guest
Crossing and praying is not sustainable. Very easily predictable and team can defend once figured out. Total waste if Chelsea continues to play Giroud and cross whole match while giving 10-20 minutes to Timo and Kai.
Big Boss
He should switch to 3-5-2 with Giroud and Werner as 2 strikers. 443 isn't working.
