junior
Junior -- Arsenal's highest paid players are at ~80k pounds a week whereas players like Lampard, Terry, Gerrard are at about 120kpounds a week. If any player wanted to come for the money why would they choose Arsenal? Also, Chiellini is not a youngster arsenal's wage bill is 2nd only to that of manu in the bpl dat is.... RAPT0R
RvP is blowing hot n cold this season... as is most of the team... but RvP has prety much missed sum huge sitter... @ the same time he has scored a couple(??) of blinders as well...ahhh well... as long as they finish in the top 4 this season in the league i will b happy... champions league any luck?????? What?? Are you really a Gunner?? Top 4?? Even though i know they've started really bad this season, i would be really disappointed if they don't fight it out for the title till the end! They have to win a major major trophy this season! Champions League - let's hope for the best!

saberwing
1st manu2nd arsenal 3rd chelsea 4th liverpool.....wage bill (i am pretty sure of this one..) Yes you're right, the wage bill was the 2nd highest. But the reason for that was some complications regarding the wages paid to old players - I read it somewhere but can't recall exactly what it was. Arsenal's highest paid players Willy G and Ade are at about 80-85k pounds a week.

Just some trivia i thought ppl might wanna know.
Fire Wolf
Eduardo's match is tonight Nearly scored as well, hit the post, and looked solid. Can't wait for him to come back proper Real Madrid are set to sign Lassana Diarra from Portsmouth for around £20m-£24m. Arsene WINRAR apparently slapped in a 25% sell-on clause in the contract, tidy profit for someone who played about 5 games for the club

Or rather we are crying out loud for a player like him. Unfortunately we had Flamini at the time he left and he was crying like a baby for a starting role, Wenger didn't really have a choice but to sell him

At that time we had Gilberto and Flamini clearly ahead of him, with Denilson also waiting in the wings (who'd have known that he'd be pap) and Flamini had repeatedly assured that he'd stay. Plus the guy had a stinking attitude and had he waited for his chance he'd be a starter in the team now. It's a bit like Bentley, I'm sure we could have used him in the team at the moment, but we made a big profit on his sell-on. Now if only Wenger spends this cash

I don't think Real Madrid will be in the title race as they are way behind Barca unless they play like they did during the 2006-07 season with Beckham's & Capello's final season at Real.I also don't understand why Calderon sacks victorious coaches. Man Utd vs Gamba Osaka on Ten Sports right now. Go Gamba
