Grimmjow
No lol it could be months. Still to be confirmed , but Wenger seems to be worried over the injury. Hope its not another Rosicky
Grimmjow
It is being heavily reported that Fulham are willing to let the midfielder leave Craven Cottage in the New Year, despite the 29-year-old being a key cog in their first team. Bullard is seeking a new deal with the Cottagers, but Roy Hodgson’s club are reluctant to open talks with him as he still has time remaining on his existing contract.  It is now being suggested that the former Wigan Athletic man could be heading across London to the Emirates Stadium, where Arsene Wenger is in desperate need for reinforcements.  Hmm ... Fire Wolf
4 months  Could he have played his last game for Arsenal?  It's such a pity that all our rivals are so inconsistent this term while Arsenal are in tatters and can't capitalise

saberwing
^^very true! I really feel for arsenal! I hope u guys get arshavin this winter..  Arshavin @ 20m pounds = Do Not Want. If Cesc is really out for the season then there is a more pressing concern than winger / 2nd striker, ie, Central Midfield. I would be happy with any of Barry/Alonso/Inler/Felipe Melo (from Fiorentina). Yaya Toure would have been great but he has denied talks of a move. Once we get the CM sorted, then winger is 2nd priority.. though I doubt we will have much money to spend.
Fire Wolf
Gokhan Inler + Ashley Young (one can dream) = problem sorted = top 4 accomplished. Plus with possibly Rosicky and Eduardo coming back, that'd be a solid team.
saberwing
fabregas is out for 4 weeks not months  They said 3 weeks after the match but there are reports that it could be upto 3-4 months. There was supposed to be a press conference at 11:30 am BST but I havent read anything about what Wenger said there.
Fire Wolf
"The news is not good because it is a partial rupture of the medial knee ligament which is taking three to four months injury time," revealed Wenger at his pre-match press conference. "We count four, we know he will be working very hard to come back earlier but I count four months.

Its a shame really, cause he was an Arsenal fan growing up

Its a shame really, cause he was an Arsenal fan growing up Same with Micah Richards. Anyways Aston Villa probably won't sell Young anyways, due to him being English, one of their key players and them being in the position/form they currently are in. Should've snapped him up from Watford, Villa signed him for a pittance in today's market.
saberwing
^^ There, thats done it now. BTW, dont anyone be surprised to see us sign no one and play Ramsey, Denilson, Song and Diaby in midfield after Nasri gets injured as well. That midfield has to be one of the worst in the league.

Yeah, but iirc we had just bought Walcott at the time, and paid what 8m pounds upfront for him with clauses.. and Young had gone for 5-6m i think. Imagine the criticism Wenger would have got if he bought two unproven kids for 14m
Fire Wolf
^ Yeah, true. Walcott hadn't had a full season with us I think. Though Walcott and Young bombing down either wings  ^^ There, thats done it now. Denilson, Diaby and Song should never go along in a sentence, let alone a midfield.

the_BIG_J
guys...Diaby according to me is pretty good, can see that he has the game and the potential he jus hasnt got enough opportunity for one reason or the other, injury, subbed lets if he gets a good run, i think he is a real talent, some of his moves and tricks are awesome....as for denilson he was so good wen he used to come on as sub..nowadays he is sucking big time...and Song...we need someone to defend and mop up, he does that fine. But if u guys are comparing with other clubs...yes it sucks..but option do we have!...Wenger has his philosophy!....and though i believe in the saying 'In Arsene we trust' somehow i want world class signings like all other clubs/fans! saberwing
^ What do you see in Diaby? His tricks and flicks are of no use as long as there is no end product, kids can do that stuff in the playground. Our game is based on passing and moving, he doesnt do either. He hardly plays a good pass all game, check his pass completion percentage, it will be the lowest of our 11 players in any game. Gives the ball away n number of times every game, including the Liverpool game where he was our worst player. He is lazy, does not track back to help defend. He has skill, pace, strength but no composure and as long as that does not change he is good enough for a mid table club, no more. Â Denilson on the other hand I highly rate, he is only 20, but he plays very maturely. He isnt extravagant with skill on the ball, neither does he have much pace, but he is the kind of player who fits right into Wengers system, and he understands it well. He has been played in 3 different postions and has adapted to all quite well.. at such a young age that is a sign of a good player. He has a bright future. Â Song as a bench player is perfectly fine, he just shouldnt be starting our games. Diaby needs to be sold.

Grimmjow
Problem with Denilson is, he's more of a Fabregas type player, good at creating chances... Unfortunately he has to play a defensive role, which hes clearly not best at...
