Even Ivanovic. park is there in the team to provide cover to the full backs.. his main job is closing down cos he has infinite stamina like the infiltrator in kz3.... Problem is the midfield and feeds. You look at giggs and nani, always scouting the forwards, and here for some reason torres is seen as an afterthought by an already innocuous midfield. Ramires has been very good i thought. And for once Cole is a danger too. Otherwise, we have had it pretty ok. Please, no Drogba till late into the game. Yeah midfield is just not good enough , its baffling the way Malouda and Essien have fallen of their game after Aug-Oct last year. Lampard still hasn't shown his former self. Man I was a huge fan of Sheva when he was at AC Milan (Still remember that magic CL night when Pool won , that 1st half , used to watch Serie A sometimes just cause of him , was so excited when he came to Chelsea , thought will be seeing him every week now , but , don't wanna see a repeat here with Torres. Where the hell is Luiz , he can play as a better midfielder than some of the guys currently playing. Due to current Torres situation and that price tag, a top class striker like Drogba has been made into ketchup squeeze , use him when needed and leave it most of the time , he is sure to leave at the end of this season now the way he has been treated.
