Nemo Posted April 12, 2011 Report Share Posted April 12, 2011 bleh.. what to say, old team, slow team; shockingly (and inexplicably) clueless manager. a 37 year old giggs just schooled and hopefully gave a lesson in wing play to us. We have been carrying certain older players for far too long and hopefully they will be shipped out. Lampard has been woeful since his return, we were sad in his absence so it doesnt really matter but i would not want him a starter next season. Anelka has to go.. go man.. just go. Drogba scored a wonderful goal and mad props for him but Torres cant blossom if we are dependent on him, nino requires different system and not the route 1 lump the ball that we do with drogba. p July cannot come sooner. Just remember, one Sheva used to ride on one Kaka... No one is expecting for a total squad overhaul for any motherf**kin' millionaire... There should have been a constant up gradation but we left it for far too long. Ramires, Torres and Luiz were much needed inputs but the inefficiencies are still the same and glaring ones at that. We got in torres but never tuned the game to suit his style. Face it, he is the star striker with 50 million tag, the team has to play by his style. All i saw today was lumps, lumps and more lumps. The kind of play we do with drogba, the hit upfield and hope Drogba conjures up something. He has does that many a times for us and i respect and love him for it, but its that dependence that has to be stopped if Torres is to be integrated. We dont have any width. Our midfield used to be the one to pull its weight but Essien and lampard have been disappointment. Ess is leaky, far too leaky and is not really suited for a 4 man center.
