Nemo
Remember that Bundesliga is shitty because it comes on Neo Sports thing we had...? yea ^ crappy commentary?? nah, commentary is good, lots of dry humor, if you like it. The problem that rockstar is referring to is lack of any pre match build up.

Mel81x
When you look at it that way, the Germans do offer some breadth in their league winners but that really is no indicative of much and to be honest if you were watching football in the early 90s there was a strong tendency to just flip the channel when you saw any English teams playing because the powerhouses were around the rest of Europe and their leagues were way more competitive. I remember watching European cup nights with teams like B.Dortmund, Juventus, ACM, Ajax, etc. I can't even remember the last time I saw Ajax or Dortmund in a semi and lets not even get started on the Hungarian teams. I like the Bundesliga but I watch it on mute because I am usually working away while I have the TV on.
shekdown
Where you have many different teams winning the league over a span of 5-10 years, it normally means the league is very unstable. Look at the South American leagues for example. There are a very small crop of teams that are stable in the league. The rest keep getting relegated - promoted, do well one season - incredibly bad the next, manager changes every season, outflow of players the size of 8-10 every season. Things like that. While I personally do agree the German League is very competitive, I do not agree at all at the stupid idea of judging the competitiveness of a league by the no.of different winners over a small time period. As for the whole debate itself of which league is competitive. Im going to avoid it altogether. Most people here know my views of how highly I rate La Liga. But I havent been able to watch Serie A or La Liga properly for the last 2-3 years now. And La Liga, almost nothing at all this season. But the fact is this. EPL is definitely more competitive than La Liga(maybe not Serie A) but La Liga is technically more competent. Id enjoy the technicality of the games played by mid-table sides in La Liga. In EPL, I enjoy the frenetic pace of the games. Though the risk is that, if both teams sit back, your in or an incredibly dull game in the EPL. 'Pranay
TBH i found EPL mainly started improving after 03/04. I use to love serie A cause they had great teams in AC Milan , Juventus , AS Roma and Inter Fighhting it out. La liga was fun cause it was competitve as well Barca and real use to lose 8/10 matches while they barely lose 1/2 these days. Valencia were a better team then and Deportivo la courina and villareal were also great teams. The top 10 in la liga during mid season were very close. Their were also surprises like Real Socided stayed at top of the league for a long time. Epl has improved from 04/05, Better Coverage , suitable timing, great marketing and obviously money. Man In The Box
Good match between Roma and Chievo. Vucinic is hopelessly out of form though but Totti seems to be playing well again. Feels good watching an AS Roma game after 2 months Edited April 23, 2011 by Avishkar

Man In The Box
Yeah true that but Vucinic was very wasteful and although Totti played some excellent through balls today I still feel he could have passed more in the final third instead of taking all the shots by himself . Roma defense was better than it's usual level and Burdisso was very good today. Btw, why was Doni playing ahead of Julio Sergio ?

Joy
The little pea does it again. SAF really needs to put more thought into this , Nani on left just isn't working , the moment Giggs & Evra came it was a different story on the left hand side.
