What were we doing for the first half of the season? When you think about the side that went and played at BC and got chided like little children and the side that met them yesterday and steam-rolled them there is a huge difference. Everyone was running for everyone else and the goals started flowing very easily. If we play the same way we did yesterday against Spurs I can see an easy match for us.

P.S. Happy Easter Everyone

Err....excuse me gentleman....we are talking about Spurs over here....A side doing certainly better than Scousers....A side which beat Inter Milan and AC Milan...of which Liverpool can only dream of for next two years atleast...

As far as I can tell I was talking about Spurs too lol. When you watch the Arsenal game that was played the reason why Spurs even go so much movement towards the back-line is because the wings were never properly shut down. For all the bitching I have given Lucas over the past seasons, he is slowly turning into a more solid CDM and if yesterday is any indication of how much better we are as a passing unit since the start of the season then I certainly don't see Spurs knocking us down a notch. The reason BC got flustered at Anfield is because we were passing and moving the ball the whole time and no one person was really just saying hey I need to tread water and start creating opportunities. Players were covering for each other and that's what ultimately led to BC (which has a good defensive unit) being broken down. When we first met Spurs this year, it wasn't the best of times for us because of all the garbage we were going through but I firmly believe that we can overtake them and we will because they are coming to Anfield and we have been mincing teams at home lately.

P.S. We've beaten a better AC Milan side :)

^^^ yeah, that is why i love EPL. Sure the title has been going to chelsea-utd in the last 6 years but liverpool and arsenal have always been mighty close, its not till the last 2-3 gameweeks that we get a proper picture. I am optimistic about our chances but it would require a herculean effort from arsenal to make it realistic. come on gooners man up.. Beat united next week
