But to be honest that is what happened during Mourinho's reign too. He won the UEFA cup then the CL and after that it was like a spoon full of ENO, everyone got split up and went to different teams leaving Porto a little worse for wear. I am hoping to see a good showing next season (as most pool fans always do anyways). We had a few good things going for us at the end of the season and I am hoping that our Asia tour and pre-season training kicks in well before the start of next season. I wonder why the Portuguese FA doesn't just buck up and try and get players to come play in Portugal instead of selling them to other countries? The same could be said about other countries where they have good in-house programs and just end up selling players to bigger leagues simply because the money is great (Netherlands). You win a title one year and you're not given the opportunity to turn that into something more because your players get lured out by bigger clubs just when they are peaking. Quite sad considering that some of the best tacticians come from outside the big league countries and those countries suffer with their own programs as a result.
