They cant play in each other position, they arent brothers and they sure as hell arent husband and wife. Every contract is mutually exclusive. Personally, I can see them both leaving this season. And instead of letting Nasri go on a free next season, its better to sell him now, I feel. As for Cesc, as much as I want him to stay, his heart is at Barca despite his love for Arsenal. And he has been a devoted servant of the club, extemely professional and already a legend, in my eyes, so I will completely understand his move. Nasri can go and eff himself and his big ego. Ofcourse it comes down to Arsene Wenger. But the player can easily twist the manager's arm. Cesc has already made it clear he wants a move away this window. I said that mid-season itself that I can see him leaving us. And hes been professional all along, I can see him getting impatient henceforth. And for me, Cesc has given it all for the club and as a club we should let him go because he desires it so much, provided our expectations are matched. Barca need to cough of 40m, thats far lesser than what a player of Cesc's value is actually worth. As for Nasri, he has 1 year left on his contract. He doesnt deserve to match Cesc on wages, so he wont be offered it and he will be a disgruntled player earning huge wages for the next year, not performing well enough. After which, he will leave on a free. Instead, we can sell him now and cash in on a quality 15m-20m for a player on his last year of his contract. Nasri hasnt even been all that world class through his contract. Only 8 months of the last 15, hes been superb. He wont be a big loss and can be replaced. Its only Cesc that will be difficult to replace, but thats Wenger's mistake of signing players who will eventually leave. We need to bring in English players and players who love Arsenal, and need to build a team around them. Otherwise, you will have players consistently leaving. shekdown Posted June 28, 2011 Report Share Posted June 28, 2011 Bull crap. Arsene should have been sacked a year back. Hes a stubborn manager who has lost any sense of tactical approach to games. He doesnt prepare the team for matches, doesnt change his tactics, doesnt bring in the players who are required, refuses to spend money when there is abundant cash available and simply does not know how to address the media and respect other managers. Its better he leaves before he become a joke clown like Benitez. I wanted him to be sacked, but the board are making good money with him in charge, they wont do it. I can only hope and pray that he signs the required players this transfer window, but you see his lackadaisical approach is taking the fore-front. We should have atleast 50% of the signings ready before a pre-season to help prepare and bond for a season, instead we havent even got 1 signing lined up and we have 5-6 players departing for sure. Andy might have met his match there lol. But the only reason I do watch it is because as punishment when we played for college we had to go and referee a girls game every time we f'ed up. After some time you sort of get used to slower pace (not so slow anymore) and it is quite entertaining to watch. I saw a game on DD the other day where Kerala was playing Jarkhand I believe?
