Dark_Knight
WTF :( Hopefully Mikel can step up. Or else AVB will have to change the formation to something which doesn't require a CDM.
the_BIG_J
Where are the defensive reinforcements Mr. Wenger, although I am pleased with us being linked to the likes of Mata, Lavezzi, Benzema et al. I would really feel assured if we got a decent defensive midfielder or CDM (since we are on IVG), need backup for Song, there is absolutely none, and what bothers me is that we are not getting any joy in this department!.. What say fellow gooners? Edited July 8, 2011 by the_BIG_J
prakhar
City of Manchester Stadium has been been renamed to Etihad Stadium. Etihad is an Arabic word, which means United. City may have taken off the 35 years banner, but they have certainly given the United fans a much bigger thing to laugh about! Man City's stadium is now called "United Stadium!" Someone should take a banner with "Thank you for making us feel at home" written, on our next away game there.

What say fellow gooners? Couldnt agree more. Early on we were linked to Samba and Cahill and if rumours are to be believed we were in to sign them both!! Now I hear none of it and its annoying. Bolstering defensively is what we require. And I want us to sign Parker desperately.
supersim
What this man said is true. From what Ive read, Fabregas is flying to China but Nasri has picked up a very handy injury jsut before the tour. Looks very likely Nasri will leave. Fabregas will not travel to Malaysia tomorrow as the club begin their Far East tour. Nasri is travelling on the other hand Edited July 9, 2011 by supersim

Mel81x
I have stopped watching the Copa its just plain depressing. Now, the WWC has gotten quite interesting. Japan knock out Germany, England lose to France (no surprise there) and now the big games are coming up with Sweden playing Australia and Brazil playing the US. Strange but I didn't think a WWC would be more entertaining than the CA then again we are still in the first stage of that tournament. DevilsOwn
brazil and argentina Rest of the teams are playing pretty well Argentina should be playing better, a lot better with the team they have. now it seems, Maradona was doing a really great job! but for Brazil, i think this is one of the worst teams they have ever had. This is their current attack and midfiled: Midfielders: Lucas (Liverpool), Ramires (Chelsea), Sandro (Tottenham), Elias (Atletico Madrid), Lucas (Sao Paulo), Jadson (Shakhtar), Elano (Santos), Paulo Henrique Ganso (Santos) Forwards: Alexandre Pato (Milan), Neymar (Santos), Fred (Fluminense), Robinho (Milan) No ONE has really done anything of worth in his career really. (by Brazilian standards). Lot of 'potential' ; but thats about it.
lazycod3r
Wenger made it pretty clear in his interview that he will be signing only 1-2 players ..... is this what he meant by "being active"?? As for Left Back, he said that Gibbs would replace Clichy. Wow, surely we are just aiming for a top half finish next season
