Mel81x
You should read the interview she did for FIFA with the other lead strike partner for Sweden. Good team overall and their midfield mechanics are slightly better than most. The only downside is neither of them can actually keep the ball on the ground when it comes to open chances on the net (seems to be a plaguing issue at this WWC anyways) http://www.fifa.com/womensworldcup/news/newsid=1466267/index.html Edited July 10, 2011 by Mel81x
dabba
yup i saw some of the replays... open goals missed... btw don't go by the profile pic of the US #1... instead lookie over here.... http://www.fifa.com/womensworldcup/photo/147/069/6/picture.html#1470696 but that swede is a forward.... that's my position.... edit: after going thru a few more pics... i will stick with the US #1.... edit2: the edit of that article has a bit on ibraaaaaaaa Edited July 10, 2011 by dabba
Mel81x
Well I guess pictures will have to do for the rest of the tournament. Brazil just netted a penalty so they might be going forward and the US taking that Atlantic flight back home unless some kind of miracle occurs. On another note, besides injuries, when is it a good tactical move to use a goalie as a substitute? I got asked and I can't think of anything tactical about wasting a substitute chance for a player that really isn't contributing to forward play. Nemo
fascinating read that ^^ though i doubt it can upstage milan-inter to become the biggest rivalry in italy, boardroom or no boardroom Edited July 11, 2011 by Nemo

Mel81x
That's the spirit. I'd muster up a really bad cough too lol. I actually remember what I was doing when I read the news and saw Juve go down a big notch as well. This really is not a proper form of vindication at but merely a slap on the wrist. Italian football isn't what it used to be and that is probably not changing anytime soon either. Edited July 11, 2011 by Mel81x

lazycod3r
If he does whats written above and doesn't win trophies then he will surely be out next season. BTW Downing is closer to being an Arsenal Player. Downing can go to pool, if we can get Mata for 23 mill somehow, that would be a great signing
shekdown
Downing rumours are false. We anybody signs Downing for 18m-20m, it would be day light rape in the middle of Times Square with spot lights on, broadcast on global television. shekdown
Very first line of the article. Arsène Wenger has reiterated his desire to keep Samir Nasri and Cesc Fábregas I desire Scarlett Johansen and Jessica Alba with me in a threesome, doesnt mean it will happen. Mel81x
Sadly that desire is not happening for Arsene either lol Also, I think we need to sort out our Midfield surplus first then we can worry about getting Downing. Although that pricetag is just ridiculous. Edited July 11, 2011 by Mel81x

Man In The Box
That's disappointing. Essien is a great asset and will definitely be missed.
