gooner4life Posted August 14, 2011 Report Share Posted August 14, 2011 sorry yaar I guess am being too pessimistic abt everything arsenal related .We defended well for sure... but the problem is that we are one injury away from squillaci coming back and that scares me to death , Wenger is going to use yesterday's match as an excuse to not buy any CBs .... RVP had an off game but we need an experienced midfielder, Ramsey still doesn't look ready I agree with if we have an injury in CB position then we have to use squillaci which is a scary prospect... But I donot understand why every AFC fan wants to sign cahill type player becoz if we sign cahill then either koscielny has to make way for him which I personally dont like becoz kosh has done quite well till now & if koscielny doesnt make way for cahill then do you think he would be happy to be a bench warmer at arsenal. My preferred signings if cesc & nasri both go would be(these r all those who have been linked with arsenal or have a decent chance of coming in) - Mata(& if not him then maybe andre ayew) + Marvin Martin + Scott Dann(he should be our 4th choice CB)-> If these signings r made then our team would have great strength in depth... Nd if wenger really wants to splash the cash then maybe he should go for a playmaker like joao moutinho of porto, he would be expensive but he would be great!!
