probably the worst Arsenal performance in a long time.... midfield was a joke, chamakh is useless... but our defense looks good (hope I don't jinx it :(). I hope Wilshere is back for the second leg otherwise its bye bye CL :(

i watched the highlights.... from that i did not see chamakh in the box only... except when defending corners in the arsenal box... :wallbash:

walcott n gervinho were in the box more often in the highlights... :wallbash:

chamakh... :chair:

Y U NO STAY IN THE BOX

 SUN TV

A sample article posted on their online portal yesterday night which was taken down after it "served its purpose" (read website hits)

FOOTIE rising star Tom Cleverley begged a girl for sex after taking her to a B&B despite dating a Page 3 beauty.

The Manchester United midfielder, 22, bombarded Jade Dawson, 20, with text messages pleading with her to spend the night after kissing her in a club.

Once she was in his room Tom dating gorgeous Emily OHara, 23 tried to impress the shop assistant by Googling himself to prove he was famous. Jade did stay the night but refused to have sex with Tom who texted her the next day saying: Ur loss.

Jade said: He got on top of me to try to have sex with me but I told him to get off. He even woke me at 5am for sex but I still said No.

Jade from Thornton-Cleveleys, Lancs, was out with pals at a Blackpool club when Tom went up to her without a word and kissed her.

good that u didnt watch the whole match... I have never ever seen a worse midfiled performance by Arsenal :(. Walcott looked good, Gervinho is kind of frustrating as he makes too many wrong decisions but I guess he needs time to adjust. Chamakh doesnt even look like a footballer, there is something seriously wrong with him, I remember last season he did really well in the first half when RVP was injured but after that his confidence just went to an alltime low.

Gibbs is injured again, Djorou injured as well so against Liverpool, we are going to put up a Carling Cup side with no Wilshere, Song, Gervinho :( ... Squillaci back as CB against Suarez and Caroll :D..... And Wenger will again say that injuries cost us the season. I mean WTF dude, just quit already and go back to France or prove us wrong and buy some fking players

chamakh has lost confidence coz wenger rarely plays him... n if he plays both RvP n chamakh (as a 2nd half sub to try n be more attacking)... then chamakh either plays behind RvP or on the flank...

he flourished when he was playing up front when RvP was injured... scoring goals at lib... esp headers....

I think the most exciting match this coming weekend is going to be Fulham at Wolves. For some reason, I get the feeling that the big matches might fizzle a bit but that match is going to be like the UFC ... FIGHT!

Inter stand firm on Sneijder

Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti remains adamant that Wesley Sneijder will not be going anywhere this summer.

Inter have always been determined to keep hold of the midfielder and the fact that Samuel Eto'o could be set for a move elsewhere has only strengthened their resolve.

"Sneijder away? For Wes there has never been any sort of negotiation," Moratti told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

"If Eto'o leaves, he remains. Sneijder was untouchable even before this hypothesis, now it is even more so.

"Sneijder will remain."

Nasri denies exit claims

Arsenal midfielder Samir Nasri has rubbished suggestions he is about to leave the club with a sense of 'bitterness and anger'.

Manager Arsene Wenger is determined to hold on to the 24-year-old, having played a big role in his development over the past few seasons.

However, big-spending City have identified him as a transfer target and Roberto Mancini revealed last Friday that work was being done to try and reach an agreement.

Spurs in Adebayor talks

Harry Redknapp has confirmed Tottenham Hotspur are in talks with Manchester City regarding a deal for Emmanuel Adebayor.

Negotiations with City have reportedly been ongoing for some time, with Adebayor's reported £170,000 a week wage packet proving to be the only real stumbling block.

Redknapp said: "The chairman is talking to Man City about the player but where they (the negotiations) are at, I genuinely don't know."

Just saw Aguero's work. f**k me.. 30 mins, 2 goals and an assist. To think of that he wanted to come to chelsea at some point and we never went for him

might as well pack our bags and go home unless modric is brought, and a winger for right.
