Demba ba is turning in to a beast of a forward

Its not just him but that whole team. They play for each other and they work even harder to close teams down. They might lose steam in the second half of the season but they have proved everyone wrong in thinking they were going to be pushovers this season.

I think they'll be dealt a blow in the second half of the season with the African Nations coming up...

If you ask me hes not an ideal fit in the system we have right now. You need someone to compliment the pace of Suarez and not just that but the vision too. Tom is a good footballer but hes not the right fit. If there is any truth in that article (most transfers are rumors that disappear anyways) then the management at Liverpool need to drop their interest right away.

As for the African nations cup. That will be a blow to everyone across the board in the PL. With the exception of teams that don't have African players. Although teams can still manage these days with the way squad depth is improving vastly.

Yeah he does have a knack for picking a pass but then again you don't want Suarez chasing neither do you want Andy chasing (god knows he moves like a tortoise at times). I hope we nab that wonder-kid for the future that United is eyeing and then get me one of those muppets from PSV Eindhoven that played over the last few weeks in the midfield. Those kids can play some serious interchange football.

So tomorrow Rubin Kazan

Its incredible how we are fielding academy players and still getting results :giggle:

But tomorrow's gonna be a little difficult...RK away...

It should play like this

Cudicini; Stewart, Gallas, Bassong, Townsend; dos Santos, Carroll, Livermore, Pienar; Pavlyuchenko, Defoe
