But, and this is a big but (pun intended ) .. football is such that a madrid which can only attack will not win the CL. defensive steel is needed. atleast its much much better than the way the Old Firms of Italia used to win the CL.. For me, the best football is the one Jose played with us, ofcourse its all IMO. rock solid defence and ability to maintain the lead. Now.. Sire A.. that is a sureshot borefest. Its has really regressed in thee last few years, mainly after the match fixing scandle. I cant bring myself to see their matches, half full stadia, slow, very slow football. My fav is definatey PL, followed by Bundesliga. I mean in a way yes u get to see a lot more skill in La Liga, but its more due to the fact that players get lotsa time on the ball in spain, in PL If u arent top class, u'd lose ur ball sooner than u can say 'stepover' if u try to showboat. anyway, I do hav a soft spot for real, mostly due to robben (still love him though he acted like a prick). I hav a big time man crush on him. Superb, superb player. I really wanted him to come to chelsea, more so than I wanted Robben to stay He is gonna be a Madrid leagend for sure, though on flip side, I also do hav a wish that he performes badly for a brief period and u lot sell him to us.. and then he once again start kicking a*s in blue.
