Man In The Box
Tells it you don't know jack sh*t about football. This was a total defensive master class from the very best in the lot. ThE_SpEcIaL_1
No you cant beat them at their own game .No one can and no one will .Respect that they are superior and defend defend defend .Arsenal tried 4 times and succeeded once ,united tried twice and failed .Real Madrid got Raped when they tried it . Arsenal of year 2005 could have done it..Henry missed 2-3 one on one chance against valdes.. Later Arsenal got red card and lost!
ThE_SpEcIaL_1
Lol. So, for the whole freaking time, full team remained inside 30 yards, and managed to get a goal somehow; and yet people think this is great performance from Chelsea. 2009's team was much better than this. Honestly it was mostly luck, and those two saves by Cech and Cole. Even the ramirez's pass was total luck and the deflection from valdes for goal. Gotta say, Chelsea defended pretty well, but sadly that's all they did. Shittiest game I ever watched. Also, this practically was Chelsea's strategy for first leg. You were once a Chelsea fan.... :ranting:

I would have posted more but I can't type for sh*t in iPad. We get same stuff in fighting games. If you see someone not attacking & just throwing projectiles, casuals & scrubs call it boring/luck/noobish. While it's an effective strategy that is called turtling, you can't out attack a good attacker, you need to make attacking & getting in difficult for him. Make him commit mistakes & capitalize on those mistakes
Stevie G
Counter Attacking is a very effective strategy but it is very hard to implement properly . Kudos to Chelsea yesterday for attacking Barcas weakness at Rb
Choron ka raja
You were once a Chelsea fan.... :ranting: Yeah, then I became a football fan. Seriously, it is difficult to be fan of a club who think they are greatest but go back to defend in a 30 yard circle, when faced against competition. Also, being a fan does not mean that I have to talk good about the team even when they do not try to perform. I expect them to atleast fight, not get holed up inside. Its the same thing why we hate campers in video games. To all those idiots thinking I don't know sh*t about football, thank you for telling me that 2 years of state level football, and 8 years of fifa manager experience is useless. If you think, you know the tactics better than me, good for you. I know, one simple thing, that chelsea were just defending for 90 minutes. yes, they did good at that, but that's all they did, and this is not something I ever liked. They would have rather built a wall in front of goal while at that. Everyone has their preferences, and I don't like these tactics. That was all I said, so do not talk like a dumb fanboy. And come on, everyone knows, ramires was planning to pass it from in front of defenders, not their back. He practically slipped while passing it back when he was unable to defeat defenders. How can you lot miss that obvious a thing. Even drogba was expecting a pass up front. Just look at the way he took the shot. Also, that shot was directly in to hands of valdes. Lampard's pass was great, but if you tell me it included in their team talk that they will wait for Messi to slip up and give away ball, you are dumb, and really do not deserve a place in any football related discussion. Nemo
I get you but you are forgetting that football is not always about flair and fancy passes. Defending is very much a part of football, if somewon wants to see pretty moves all the time i suggest watching synchronised swimming as a new sport :|
