Seriously, it is difficult to be fan of a club who think they are greatest but go back to defend in a 30 yard circle, when faced against competition. Also, being a fan does not mean that I have to talk good about the team even when they do not try to perform. I expect them to atleast fight, not get holed up inside. Its the same thing why we hate campers in video games. To all those idiots thinking I don't know sh*t about football, thank you for telling me that 2 years of state level football, and 8 years of fifa manager experience is useless. If you think, you know the tactics better than me, good for you. I know, one simple thing, that chelsea were just defending for 90 minutes. yes, they did good at that, but that's all they did, and this is not something I ever liked. They would have rather built a wall in front of goal while at that. Everyone has their preferences, and I don't like these tactics. That was all I said, so do not talk like a dumb fanboy. And come on, everyone knows, ramires was planning to pass it from in front of defenders, not their back. He practically slipped while passing it back when he was unable to defeat defenders. How can you lot miss that obvious a thing. Even drogba was expecting a pass up front. Just look at the way he took the shot. Also, that shot was directly in to hands of valdes. Lampard's pass was great, but if you tell me it included in their team talk that they will wait for Messi to slip up and give away ball, you are dumb, and really do not deserve a place in any football related discussion. They failed miserably against Inter(EVEN After their player cheated and got one opponent sent off), because they were not able to open the defense. I dont think Chelsea can manage a clean sheet at Nou Camp, but I wish they score one away goal from a set piece or a long throw to reach the finals. @bold part - I dont understand why people have problem with teams that play defensively .. behave like a best team ? u mean attack madly against a team that boasts Messi, Sanhez, Iniesta, Xavi in their line up. shekdown Posted April 19, 2012 Report Share Posted April 19, 2012 How idiotic that a Chelsea fan is criticising the way his own team played. I thought Chelsea were beautiful yesterday. Absolutely brilliant and it was great to watch as well. Gary Cahill was out of the bloody world. Football is a game of tactics and time and time again Barca have showed how they can rip apart top teams when they have a go at them. Just look at Madrid, Arsenal, Man United, Villareal and other top teams that can hold a candle to anyone else in the world. There is a way of beating the team, which is extremely difficult and thats defending and countering. Chelsea did it superbly yesterday. And for me they deserve every single plaudit for doing such a massive and excellent job. I think the 2nd leg is going to be the a steep climb to the top of a tall mountain, but hell, I cant believe people are slating the way Chelsea played yesterday. And I read someone posting that the Chelsea goal was a fluke pass and a deflected finish, and something on those lines. All I have to say to that is : Oh no no... Lampard was looking to pass the ball to his father in the stands as a souvenir but failed miserably.. Ramires is a marathon runner and was deluded & overwhelmed by London Olympics... Drogba on the otherhand just wanted to reach the 10 yard area on his wheelchair (he is old and dieing) so he could say Hi to the camera one last time... Then it struck ramires oh he is a footballer not a marathon runner.. confused and dazed he thought he is a barca player (brazilians love barca) so he decided to pass back to his GK Valdes... failed miserably as he is the shittiest player... the ball then luckily flew to drogba who successfully reached the penalty box on his wheelchair (34 yr oldie) & aimed straight at valdes who had a heart-attack that ZOMG chelsea are gonna score..
