VelivolusDas
Few more latest tweets.... Guillem Balague tells #SSN that Pep Guardiola is "99.9%" sure to take a sabbatical rather than join another club this summer Early favourites to replace Pep Guardiola at Barcelona are Bilbao's Marcelo Bielsa, Roma boss & ex-Barca star Luis Enrique & Arsene Wenger @the bold part: :panic: Sounds too fake to be true..... 'Pranay
Pep Leaving is confirmed. Not many rate him that highly tactically but he has been really good and deserve the applauds he gets. Messi has really flourished under him along with other youth players like Pedro and busquet. Beisla seems to be the fav to be the manager and iif he comes, barca will be back more stronger thats for sure
Nemo
No break pep, come to chelsea next season Roman I implore you do not offer Guardiola a job. First sign of trouble and he's bailed. 'Exhaustion' my arse he is a mediocre tactician blessed with a fantastic squad. He won 1 major trophy in the 09-10 [the rest 2 were uefa super cup] season that was the la liga but had lost the ucl he was going to leave laast year itself but was forced to take another year contract. 'Pranay
Assistant coach Tito Vilanova is named as Pep Guardiola's successor as Barcelona manager. This is what Pep said - Guardiola: "I want you to understand that this is not a simple decision for me" Guardiola: "I have always wanted short contracts because the demand from Barcelona is so big. I always thought that four years is an eternity for a coach. Guardiola: "At the beginning of December I announced to the chairman that I was seeing the end of my era at Barcelona. Obviously we couldn't say that publicly." Guardiola: "The reason is simple. Four years gets tiring. The new coach will give things I am not able to give any more. 'Exhaustion' my arse he is a mediocre tactician blessed with a fantastic squad. Completely disagree Guardiola may have inherited a good squad but just to let you know the squad which he had inherited finished 3rd in the league 18 points behind Real Madrid .What People forget is that these last 4 years Barcelona have been the best in the World .2 Champions League Wins,2 more semi finals and 3 league titles .Also you should see the way how barcelona defend when they lose the ball .When they lose the ball the closest 2 players immediately press the opposition to retain the ball or to force the opponent into clearing .they carry out this pressing for the next 10-15 seconds and if the fail to retain the ball then they all form a wall to defend .Even their main striker Lionel messi comes back to defend .These defensive tactics are very hard to implement and its only via these defensive tactics that they can play their beautiful football .When Guardiola arrived, before that they had Edmilson and Van Bommel in the central midfield who would be more like the ball winners .Guardiola is a very good coach,he played the last 4 years in the Barcelona way,he kept on giving chances to youngsters ,he did not cry when his team lost and he always acknowledged and congratulated the other teams .Top Top Human Being and a good coach .
