armaan
Guardiola: "The reason is simple. Four years gets tiring. The new coach will give things I am not able to give any more. kaka_messi
Gracias Pep! Take a year off n thn come back.U r always welcome at Nou camp. Happy that they appointed Tito but sad cos Pep is leaving. Tito can manage barca for 1 year while pep recharges himself and come back stronger and better to manage Barcelona(No harm in thinking/dreaming) n its very much possible. Pep-"Although i wont be here physically-if Tito needs me,I'm here" "i was just a voice of ideas Tito and i developed together" "i dont want to manage at this moment" "I'm drained and need to recover the passion i had in the first year" "i wont keep the tittles,i will keep the memories of personal releations, what we lived together.that has been the best part" "Meeting with Chelsea in Feb?I did not meet with them. That would have been a lack of respect towards the club" "Now i need time, there's no bigger challenge for someone who was born 60kms away than being a barca coach" Pep came for free, he left with an open cheque at his hands. Legend(for us). We can live without trophies but not without u.....hoping to see u back at Nou Camp in near future. It will take sometime for us to stop crying. It will take sometime to accept that u r no longer a Barcelona's manager but we will try and try our best with a fake smile on our face and a pain n hollowness inside our heart to face and accept the reality, but deep down somewhere in the corner we are also feeling little good cos we know we will see u at Nou camp in near future as our manager once again.Thank u for the wonderful time...thank u for everything! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vNflzAmUqwI&feature=youtu.be GRACIAS PEP!!! DevilsOwn
though from 2 years ago, this is quite interesting regards Pep (and managers at that level) Moments after winning the Club World Cup last month, he burst into tears. Those watching on TV were probably convinced they were tears of joy. But, as it later emerged, Guardiola was turning to his assistants, asking: "What now? Where do we go from here?" seriously, after the last 3 seasons he has led the team to, anything beyond can only be going down. and the pressures... just goes to show how great Fergie is. Thats not enough for your respect ? he just applied the icing on the cake thats already ready. dont even try putting Pep in the same line as Fergie. I am not calling him a bad manager, he has a long way to go before he can be placed besides the likes of Fergie, Shankly, Busbie, Trappatoni .. Stevie G
he just applied the icing on the cake thats already ready. dont even try putting Pep in the same line as Fergie. No Comparison between both but Im shocked to see the lack of respect for Guardiola. He gained 27 points over Madrid in 1 season . he turned them from a 1 man Ronaldinho team to the best passing team in the world . He kept on promoting youth players from the academy . He basically made Xavi,Iniesta the best midfielders in the world . Messi flourished under him This was their best 11 when he took over Valdez marquez Puyol Thuram Oleguer Deco Xavi Iniesta Etoo Ronaldinho Messi Only 5 players from then Its more than just the icing. Keano
And united were humiliated in both finals. two matches where he put forward a squad that he has not built from scratch makes him the same as Fergie ? You never cease to amaze me .. i.e spewing more bullshit than the previous attempts. Edited April 27, 2012 by Keano
