rad2689
well in that case, manchester uinted has also paid around 17 million each for anderson, hargreaves, nani and carrick and all these players were signed in 2006-2007. Just like Carrick said all of them were worth it. Hargreaves was pivotal in our CL winin 07/08. Nani with his great assists last season. Carrick has been great throughout. Anderson - well everyone f**ks up sometimes But you're not getting the point. We are just saying that the article which was linked to on the last page was absolutely biased against United saying that we've won titles like City is trying to. Its just that everyone expects him to be like Ronaldo(THE best player of this gen).

CM Sunny
Question: Why is buying better players bad? honest question, unethical maybe but in the end everyone is playing for the win.
rad2689
Question: Why is buying better players bad? honest question, unethical maybe but in the end everyone is playing for the win. I'm not saying that at all rom. I'm only saying that comparing the way United won all the titles and the way City is trying to, is not right. I don't care that they buy all 25 players at ridiculous wages. They got the dough from their Abbas in UAE so they splurge. Just don't say that we won titles the same way. We have always spent money that we've earned. We develop teams, City buys whole teams. Edited May 7, 2012 by Don Vito
CM Sunny
We develop teams, City buys whole teams. yea & both of you want to win. I get where you are coming from but you guys need to relax. If you know & believe in your club & trust it's policies they you need to lay back the defending & let City fans enjoy their City moment of success. Also buying teams/players is just a very short aspect of the game, I don 't mind that much. Like we say in fgc, in the end it''s all about that Paypah. Anshul
Real spent 80m on ronaldo but you won't see me complaining. United fans need to wipe their tears and accept 2nd/3rd place for the next few seasons.
