Stevie G
At this point I'd take even rafa benitez to replace arsene   In the last 20 games Arsenal's form has been downright pathetic. It hasn't been only a few games. On top of that Arsene had all the resources and time in the summer to build a strong squad. He has quickly turned into a bigger joke than rafa  All of this could have been avoided if he hadn't been so stubborn and signed an experienced CB and GK (always hated almunia ) a few years ago. And it's not like we didn't say anything at that time.  Sorry i got a little pissed there, should have seen these posts before Shows what kind of a fan you are
Stevie G
"It has been an honour and a privilege to have had the chance to come back to Liverpool football club as manager. I greatly appreciate the work that Steve, Kevin, the players and all of the staff put in during my time and feel proud that we delivered the club's first trophy in six years winning the Carling Cup and came close to a second trophy in the FA Cup Final. Â "Of course I am disappointed with results in the league, but I would not have swapped the Carling Cup win for anything as I know how much it meant to our fans and the club to be back winning trophies. Â "Whilst I am obviously disappointed to be leaving the football club, I can say that the matter has been handled by the owners and all concerned in an honourable, respectful and dignified way and reflects on the quality of the people involved and their continued desire to move the football club forward in the same way as when they arrived here. Â "I would like to thank all of the staff at the club for their effort and loyalty. I said when first approached about coming back as manager that I would always be of help if I can at any time and that offer remains the same. Â "Finally, I want to put on record my heartfelt gratitude to Liverpool's fans, who have always given me and the club their unwavering support. Without them neither the club nor I would have achieved anything
gooner4life
Sorry i got a little pissed there, should have seen these posts before Shows what kind of a fan you are   Well said! Some of the Arsenal fans in here were also calling him to be sacked during the season! These kind of fans are f**king pathetic!  They will moan all the time about lack of loyalty shown by some of our ex-Arsenal players but the one person who has single handedly transformed the club & has been the most loyal to us is no longer good enough! They think its Arsenal's divine right to just keep on winning every year & most of these idiots don't even know much about the past of Arsenal, they became fans only because AW made Arsenal into a global force & they want the same person to be sacked!  And I admire Liverpool fans for the loyalty they show to people who have done well for the club. Even if everyone could see Dalglish wasn't doing that great, most of LFC fans didn't call for his head because of the respect he commands. I just wish Arsenal could buy some of these type of fans rather than spending on players, it would do us way more good.

gooner4life
Arsenal won't win anything while arsene is there  I hope you know that Arsene Wenger is the most successful manager in the history of Arsenal(125 years), so I think your statement is quite illogical and pointless!
The Wolfy among us
Dalglish sacked? :-( oh no. He's tarnished his king status because of idiots like comolli and Carroll. Respect for the fact that he brought a feeling of hope when Liverpool was in the relegation zone. Oh no. Who's gonna replace him now? Who's gonna replace him now?  Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2  I disagree,he did not tarnish the clubs legacy in anyway IMO . When he arrived at the club it coincided with us losing arguably our best striker of the premiership era ,we were in the bottom half of the table and we were also humiliated in the Fa Cup .Dalglish never asked for the job,it was the owners who wanted him and he as a loyal servant of the club came back . We finished 6th and infact were only 2nd to Chelsea in the games that he took over. This Season he has made some strange signings and hes also had bad luck but we did reach the Fa Cup final beating United on our way and we also won the League Cup beating Chelsea away,Stoke away and beating Manchester City . So his cup run and a first trophy in 6 years .The League form is bad but if you go back in time there was a time when Manchester United were dangling in the bottom half and Alex Ferguson was almost sacked but a Fa Cup Final win and he got time and see now he has become the greatest manager of the last 25 years . Sadly nowadays managers are not given a second chance and what pisses me more is instead of sacking Kenny,he should have gone straight up in the boardroom or ambassador . Im not pissed at the owners ,Im pissed at all our players who he always constantly backed ,if anybody has let Liverpool Football Club down its them and definitely not Kenny He brought the smile back on our faces and its very sad that the players took the smile off his  Rafa-Hes the sentimental choice but question is whether owners will go for the sentimental choice again .I hope they atleast talk to him before making their appointment Martinez is too young. Rjkaard would be interesting as he has publicly stated in the past he would want to manage LFC Frank De Boer could be interesting  My Personal first choice would be Rafa,he had 1 bad season in 5 and most importantly he understands the club, the fans, the tradition
