Madhav
Agreed to whatever you said except this...Bosingwa and good? Did u see the way he was being beaten in the finals by both Ribery and Contento? He is good, he has pace, delivers decent ball into the box, but he is beaten way too easily and also he takes one touch too many... its best if we sell him and try Marcelo, Taiwo or even Baines... I am pretty sure these players will not be willing to leave their current clubs... This season we have look out for a strong RB/LB, strong wingers and for crying out loud, start playing 4-4-2 Yeah I know he aint world class but he is still decent... I know I have been cursing him all the time but we need to set our priorities first... and his departure should not be on top of the list... Ivanovic is our first choice RB not him... he is decent for a back up!! Marcelo wont leave Madrid... I mean why would he?!! Baines seems united bound!! Also, very difficult to deploy 4-4-2... yu kno.. honestly a 4-4-2 can only be employed if the 2 strikers upfront compliment each other, have perfect understanding, understand each others game and gel together... else a 4-4-2 will never work... It has been tried with drogba and torres and it has failed... they both are unable to play together because both want their team to play a different game... Drogba wants long balls as he uses his strength to control the ball with his body as well as head... Torres needs short, swift one touch pass game which chelsea as of now totally lacks... unless we get a creative world class midfielder, Torres is gonna be the same... Get us Modric please!!! Marcelo wont leave Madrid... But Jose leaves Madrid and comes back to Chelsea, Jose will lure Marcelo out and even Christiano .... Then again this wont happen... If does, its the only way to get Marcelo... And yes 4-4-2 with Drogba and Torres upfront will fail like how I did in school (miserbaly)... You have already said why... Drogba uses strength, Torres his deft touch and relies on through balls and those brilliant runs... But with Drogba leaving, and Chelsea winning CL will only attract better players, and if at all Chelsea goes on a spending spree (which they will) they should buy attacking players (which they will).. Now i do not see a reason why Chelsea cannot play 4-4-2... Also, with Spurs out of the CL, Modric and Bale will leave... Let them both come to Chelsea, afterall a London club right
nautical_j
AVB would be actually great for liverpool. I second this.... For one reason and one reason alone, there is no egoistic seniors at Liverpool like in Chelsea... In fact, AVB did a wonderful job at Chelsea up until December and then he drops Lampard, Cole, instead of phasing them out, he directly went for the chop and it back fired... I hope AVB joins LIVERPOOL and re-claims his tag of "One of the best young manager" Edited May 21, 2012 by nautical_j

I have a feeling he is staying... he should... team needs his influence, his authority, his confidence.. atleast for another year... Also, contract extension talks have been setup... Also let me remind you chelsea cannot dare to go on a spree... they can spend but only conservatively... 1 maybe 2 expensive players at max... FFP rules hello?!! Cash
RDM should go imo. Yes chelsea won the champions league but Bayern were all over chelsea for the first 90 minutes (Dint watch after that). They raped spurs in the Fa cup Semis and they outclassed us in the Final They beat Napoli after being 1-3 down They also did twice what united could not do (Beat Benfica) And he did all this with a group of players which were not his He deserves a Chances,if he goes then Id happily have him as LFC Manager

Till now,Only the games against barca was impressive. Its not because of RDM that bayern were all over us... its the squad.. its inferior... Yet RDM transformed this inferior squad into Europe's best... this only tells more about the influence this guy has on the players!!! If he is not given the job, it'll be worst decision than Jose's departure!!

I hope AVB joins Chelsea and re-claims his tag of "One of the best young manager" I think he and Martinez fit the job description of being young dynamic managers who can manage the club for the next 5-10 years .I like Martinez a lot but I think he will be out of his depth at Liverpool. He needs to manage someone like Villa or Fulham first and then go for a bigger job .Finishing 16th and 17th does not mean he deserves the LFC job .AVB on the other hand had the balls to try something different at Chelsea and for a change tried to rebuild the team plus his experience of managing Porto makes him a top name and I would happily prefer him if we want a young manager . The last part where i saw after 65 or something, liverpool were all over chelsea. So cant really say outclassed.

If you wish Chelsea to play a different style of football and want Torres to fire, then Drogba has to leave... He has been fantastic for Chelsea, but its time for him to go. Yes it would be a massive loss, but I think we have to move on and get some freshness in the way Chelsea plays their football... Oh yes... the FFP

Outclass as in they had better players Also this same sh*t Liverpool team knocked you out on the way to the Final .no Offence but we have not been sh*t in the Cups this year infact I feel we have been the best team in England in the 2 Cups this year

Focus should be Torres rather than Drogba now.... 25/50 games is not bad for him and us imo... his presence is all that matters most... Chelsea never raped Spurs. The second goal that Chelsea scored was never really a goal and that made a massive difference... I am not saying Chelsea would have lost, but the scoreline would have been a lot different. 2. Outclassed Liverpool for the first 60 mins and then it was Cech who outclassed Caroll.. 3. The beat Napoli - Yes, that was amazing... Again Cech made a lot of important saves 4. Beat Benfica twice - Ugly game, if not for Cech, this would not have been the story. So what ever Chelsea has achieved, it is because of Cech and no one else.. I am not taking anything away from RDM, all I am saying is we should not judge him because Chelsea has won the CL.. I feel its Bayern who lost the Cup and not Chelsea winning it... Take the CL final and FA cup final out of the picture... Does RDM qualify?? Stevie G
In Arsene we the spurs fans trust. Give him a another 5 years contract. Even i am with him...give him another 14 years and suddenly division 2 doesn't seem that far away... Sorry Anurag Just says how fast times can change
