I am not saying Chelsea would have lost, but the scoreline would have been a lot different. 2. Outclassed Liverpool for the first 60 mins and then it was Cech who outclassed Caroll.. 3. The beat Napoli - Yes, that was amazing... Again Cech made a lot of important saves 4. Beat Benfica twice - Ugly game, if not for Cech, this would not have been the story. So what ever Chelsea has achieved, it is because of Cech and no one else.. I am not taking anything away from RDM, all I am saying is we should not judge him because Chelsea has won the CL.. I feel its Bayern who lost the Cup and not Chelsea winning it... Take the CL final and FA cup final out of the picture... Does RDM qualify?? And we all know there can be only one alpha male and that alpha male is Terry... Chelsea dressing room was always united... It was AVB vs the Chelsea powerhouse of Terry, Lampard... They wanted AVB out and they started playing with no zest, no commitment or any intent to win... And once AVB left, Terry got the control he had earlier and RDM was more than happy... Then again this wont happen... If does, its the only way to get Marcelo... And yes 4-4-2 with Drogba and Torres upfront will fail like how I did in school (miserbaly)... You have already said why... Drogba uses strength, Torres his deft touch and relies on through balls and those brilliant runs... But with Drogba leaving, and Chelsea winning CL will only attract better players, and if at all Chelsea goes on a spending spree (which they will) they should buy attacking players (which they will).. Now i do not see a reason why Chelsea cannot play 4-4-2... Also, with Spurs out of the CL, Modric and Bale will leave...
