Keano
"RVP would probably be playing in front of a better defense & midfield if he had stayed at Arsenal"---Guardian. Sad but true. Even if I look at it from a neutral point of view, I still can't understand the decision of RvP to join United. titles and Arsenals wage policy

The league and CL is out of the question.
Nemo
BBC Sport @BBCSport Turkish side Fenerbahce say Chelsea midfielder Raul Meireles is having a medical in Istanbul ahead of a proposed transfer really suprised by this Meireles move. it started from an extremely unreliable source which I thought was total rubbish again- seems strange to let another CM move on in a season with so many fixtures. unless there is a plan to shift Ramires into the pivot role more with the additions of Moses, Marin and Hazard. Well, everyone complains that the club never play youth. Now we're going to see younger players get time. Bertrand and Oscar are going to have to soak up minutes in midfield, and Danny is going to see the pitch up front. Is it risky? Probably. But if it works (big if), we will have shed a lot of deadweight from a contractual standpoint, will have greatly decreased overall squad age, and will have set up a youthful core who have actually played big matches. Not to mention we have a huge number of on loan players who would be in the pipeline for coming seasons. If this doesn't work, it will get truly ugly and likely cost RDM his job. Should be interesting at the least.
