Man FA is one crazy jumbled ball of mess, can you imagine the German, Italian or Spanish FA desperately hounding their captain so much even after he is acquited by the real court of law.

Anyhoo, luiz and Cahill can easily fill in. No big loss there. It's better for Terry to take some time off and get his mind straight.

Real court of law has much different rules as compared to a sports organizing body & much serious punishment too if he would have been declared guilty.. Their parameters for evidence is also quite different. If Suarez's case would have gone over to the local law, then there is 100% surety he would have been acquitted too...

Mind telling those parameters you speak of?

I am no criminal lawyer but I have read about the Terry case in detail & the reason he was acquitted was that Ferdinand's lawyer wasn't able to prove the 'intent' of Terry when he spoke those words.. Terry accepted that he called him a 'black c*nt' but he said he was merely repeating the words spoken by Anton Ferdinand himself & was speaking sarcastically and since Anton Ferdinand had no way to prove that what Terry was speaking is wrong, so he got acquitted.. Also positive testimonies given by many people in case of John Terry in a court of law showed the jury that there is no reason to think Terry might be lying.. It might all seem a bit illogical but read any detailed report related to that case and that is what exactly happened.

But I don't think FA gives much credence to the 'intent' part of this argument & hence Terry was found guilty because he had already accepted that he said those words..

But the disappointing thing is that even though Suarez was punished for 8 matches but Terry is only getting punished for 4..

Suarez got an 8 game ban because he 'repeatedly racially abused Evra' while Terry 'racially abused Ferdinand once'

Also the verdict is a joke. He was acquitted in a court of law. Logically, How can the FA even charge him? Pathetic.

Then shouldn't Suarez also be tried in a court of law? Just because he wasn't tried doesnt mean he is guilty, right?

Both things work parallel, unless you are a Chelsea fan I don't see why you can't see the logic in it.
