The Football Thread

Amounts of f**k given by a Chelsea fan are the same as the number of titles won by arsenal in past few years.

Honestly though I don't care what FA or the Brit tabloids say. Fact of the matter is, a real court cleared Terry, a black player ashley Cole stood by him, not to mention former black players like drogba, anelka, etc who never had a bad word to say about him regarding racism.

Maybe you ever stopped to think that Anton Ferdinand is actually a c*nt by nature ? :P

Typical idiotic & ignorant football fan response.

Ashley Cole has been accused of being a untrustworthy person by the FA themselves(& reasons for his untrustworthiness is given in the above article) & none of the players like Drogba, Anelka etc of your squad stood by Terry during his trial.

An article which I posted a few pages back - http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/blog/2012/sep/27/john-terry-racism-fa-ban?CMP=twt_gu

What Terry's sympathisers have never explained is why, inside football, it was known well before the trial began that Didier Drogba, Nicolas Anelka, Mikel John Obi and Chelsea's Kick It Out ambassador, Florent Malouda, were not among those from Stamford Bridge who had signed statements supporting their colleague.

Ok, gooner man, here it goes.

a) Chelsea shouldn't do a damn thing because JT has been cleared by the court of law. A criminal court of law where the burden of proof is stricter than a civil court. So no there is no criminal behavior.

B. The FA have ignored their own laws which state that if any issue has been decided by a civil or criminal court the findings shall be taken 'as it is'.

Rule 6.8 states that the results of relevant civil or criminal proceedings are 'presumed to be correct and the facts presumed to be true' by FA regulatory commissions. Therefore this is a must. The word is not 'may' but 'are'. I don't need to tell you therefore that it is not a discretion.

The proviso to this is: 'unless it is shown by CLEAR AND CONVINCING evidence that this is not the case'. The evidence itself was stated to be unclear in the Court. The FA have nowhere in their findings stated that the evidence is clear and concise and beyond reasonable doubt. The language of this provision means that one has to go beyond the 'balance of probabilities'.

Now that being sorted JT admitted using those words as an inquiry to Anton's accusation. The Judge held that JT was a 'honest and reliable witness' and stated that there was no evidence beyond reasonable doubt to prove he made a racial slur.

Since the Court had no evidence I don't know where the FA got it, because they needed to have it under Article 6.8

And this goes out for the lame ignorant manucian who keeps on repping anti-Chelsea posts for no rhyme or reason,

United are nothing less since Ferdinand called Ash a 'choc ice'. Its a racial slur. Haven't seen United taking action against Ferdinand? Hell he didn't even suffer a punishment for missing a drugs test. We sacked Mutu, so don't give me the holier than thou sh*t.

All there is to see is a witch hunt. The FA have laughably described evidence which a Judge of the Court found 'reliable and consistent' to be 'implausible'. Since when does a tribunal know more than a Court?

We know what we are, and we know what JT is. Innocent and persecuted by the FA. Simple as that.
