Somehow your past managers like Mourinho/Ancelloti weren't able to do the same? Atleast give him some credit for what he achieved. AVB had the same players, look what he did.

As far as I can remember, all your signings were made before RDM was officially signed on a new contract? I don't think he had much hand in what players you signed or didn't sign.(Not the 1st time happening at your club)

Past managers like Mourinho and Ancelloti? Both of them shaped Chelsea to a better team. IIRC Mourinho was pretty good with team, and his only failing was when nearly whole of defense was out for injuries. Remember how he got sacked? Ancelloti, AVB and all others tried the same. They all knew how to play the team, and that sooner or later they need to change the scenery around. All those losses came because of that. On the other hand, RDM never tried to change anything, which would have been better in case of a young team, not for golden oldies. Change is not easy to come, it takes time Plus it is not like CFC have a superstar in the works in their youth squad to replace current team either.

All the signing made this year, were when RDM was a manager. New contract or not, a manager is a manager. Do you mean, if extension wouldn't have happened, RDM would f**k up the club, on purpose?

Dafuq RDM Sacked :O :O This is really surprising.Guardiola is the right choice now if they want to play free flowing football.RDM did nothing to change chelsea `s style. They still play as if drogba is the striker.

Really curious as to what happens now

No, not that. As far as I can remember Chelsea/Roman took a lot of time in deciding whether RDM would continue as your manager or not, & he was officially chosen the manger after you had already signed many players. I think only Moses was signed after RDM officially became manager(Before he was just caretaker manager till the end of the season).

That's what I asked. Do you think being a caretaker manager means having no say in hiring players? Which world do you live in, dude? AFAIK even in corporate world, caretaker managers have same rights as full time managers. RDM acted in same regards. Obviously Roman had a final say in every signing, but RDM is supposed to be the one doing the negotiations with clubs. May be if you ever actually understand club management

What ?

The guy turned you from a team which was 1-3 down in Naples to giving you the biggest moment in clubs History and how do you treat him when he has had 4 bad games .

The team is not out of UCl yet and they are 4 points behind the leaders.Compare that to your start last season and I do not see how it can be classified as indifferent .

He clearly deserved more time but then again its stupid to expect anything from Roman Abrahimovic .Even the Sheikhs are better than him

I understand this is hard to take but try having some perspective. Di Matteo was a care taker and the CL win forced Roman's hand to give him the job long term. The tactical problems have been there for everyone to see. The pivot wasn't working. And no one, I mean no one gets to keep their job if qualifying from the group stage is under threat. Crucial for FFP. 4 bad games? We haven't kept a clean sheet in 10 games. We haven't won a PL game in a month. I am all for giving time but Roman isn't and to be honest once you have invested north of a billion, you are entitled to such calls.

It feels bad for us since Di Matteo is a club legend. But you gotta understand Roman too here. He is looking at us in the Europa League, which I still think will happen. But it was falling apart. He pulled the lug before things got messier. Its a hard one to take, I understand that.

Not going past the CL group stage and/or finishing outside the top 4 in league is the final call for any manager in this club, high standards, yes but that is how it is.

WTF! Roman is going crazy, or what? Benitez? Really? Not that I have anything against Rafa as a manager, but he is not good for Chelsea. Also, interim manager? Why can't Roman decide on naming a manager for next two years at the least.

Roman, it is ok that you have invested billions in the thing and that you want returns, but for f**k's sake, think before you hire/fire a manager.
