For that he should have the ball.They just didn't pass to him today. A striker scores 7 in 8 matches and then doesn't have a even a sniff at goal.think now yourself. Did you look at the stat I posted 'Least goals conceded till now in EPL'? We are 4th in that category. How can anyone consider a team's defense poor if they have conceded the 4th lowest goals out of 20 teams? We have 7 clean sheets in total, only Stoke have more clean sheets than us. We are anything but poor in our defensive department. And there has been only 1 constant in that defense - Mertesacker. He has played the most minutes in our back 5 out of all the defenders + GKs. He has been rock solid this season & it's no coincidence that our defense has in result looked good. Only pointing this out because I saw the post which you wrote a few pages back saying we don't need attackers but more defenders. Our attack is the problem which is quite plain to see(only 32 goals scored in 18 matches) & not the defense. And Torres is sh*t, problem is not with Chelsea's midfield. You are wrong in both cases. hope Posted December 26, 2012 Report Share Posted December 26, 2012 Stats can be deceiving dude.Tell me where is the improvement from last season.We are still vulnerable to set pieces.We are still not entirely sure whether to play high line or to sit back.Changing players is the way out I think.We must improve on what we lack but we aren't. Watch the 2nd half of our last game.Absymall defending.We were pretty lucky to get the win.If we want to win something this is not the way I think.
